How Many Posts are Needed in a Blog to Get Approved by Google Adsense?

I was also searching for the question when I started blogging three years back in a free blogspot platform and was struggling to get approve by Google Adsense. I searched a lot in the internet, in different forums or also asked to pro bloggers. I had also got different answers from different sources. But still was not successful to get approved by Google Adsense. While checking the search terms of my blog, I still find that some people search with the term “how many posts needed to get approved by Google Adsense” or like “how many post for Google Adsense” or “how many blog post for Google Adsense“.

May be the new bloggers who has just started blogging or entered in the vast world of blogging, are searching to earn some money from their blog through Adsense but is not successful are searching for this kind of answers. Keeping them in mind I started writing the article and I want to let you know that the answer is just not a numerical number like 20 or 30 or 100. I need to explain the whole thing so that you get a clear idea about this.

How Many Posts are Needed to Get Approved by Google Adsense?

Actually this is not an answer which can be given just by a single word. When I started blogging in blogspot, at first, I managed to post around 25 posts and then applied for Google Adsense. But the result was negative. Google did not approve my blog for adsense. Then I posted another 10 posts and again applied for Google Adsense. But the result was again the same. As the answers and reasons from Google are almost anonymous, it was hard to find the points which were missing in my blog. Then after a close look, I had found that the missing point is that my blog has some lines in the content which are copied from other website. In the beginning I was not aware that Google will penalize me If I copy content from other website. Though the contents were not fully copied but still Google detected those lines.

Then I deleted all those articles and written about 15 articles within one night with appropriate pictures. I did not copied those pictures again. I created some pictures using MS Paint and used those in the articles. Then applied for Google adsense. This time Google congratulated me! Ha ha .. I was the winner that time and Google Adsense was displaying in my blog.

I had written the story of mine because I want to provide you some message though this story. First of all, if you want to get approved by Google Adsense then do not even think of copy content from other website. Try to write original content as much as possible. Google does not like copied content.

Second thing, you need to keep in mind that If you want to get approved by Google Adsense then please do not write posts only with 100 or 120 words and one pictures. Try to write a post at least with 500 words. Then add one relevant picture and add the picture which is not copyright protected.

If you are posting content like this then post at least 20 contents. Then the process is still not over. Wait for at least 20-25 days. At least 3 weeks, before applying for Google Adsense. Add some social share plugin in your blog or share those articles in social networking site like Facebook , Twitter , Pinterest or StumbleUpon. Then try to build some backlinks to other blog or submit your blog to some popular online blog directory and also submit your blog to some popular search engine.

Keep your blog design as simple as possible and do not add other advertise network to your blog. Now, this is the time for you to apply for Google Adsense. Apply for Google Adsense and I am sure that you will get approved by Google Adsense.

So, the summary is, Google Adsense approval does not only depend only on the number of blog posts. You should publish only unique content to your blog, then need to have some social share and need to submit your blog to some search engine and wait for sometime if your blog is new.

Real girls come in all shapes and sizes

A few weeks ago, my friend Tessa made a Facebook status that really hit home: “I will spend my whole life trying to figure out why it's not socially acceptable to point out people's obesity, but it's perfectly fine to torment people for being too skinny.”
I completely agree with her. Although people realize it is rude to call out someone who is overweight, somehow it is socially acceptable to tear down people – especially women – who are “too skinny.” I have been thin my whole life, but I never really thought about it in a negative way until I went to a friend’s house before a middle school dance. As we were getting ready together, she said to me and my other friend, who was also very skinny, “Did you know some people at school think you guys are anorexic?”
Surprisingly enough, I wasn’t terribly insulted. I knew it wasn’t true, and I knew that was all that mattered. However, I think the fact that I can still vividly remember that question is a testament to how it affected me. I know it made me more self-conscious, and since then I have always felt the need to prove that I have healthy eating habits. Especially in high school, I always made a big deal out of what I was eating. I would so often joke about how I was always eating that it eventually became a running joke among my friends. Luckily, I had a solid group of friends and a supportive family who encouraged me to have a positive body image. However, I worried about what strangers thought of me. Sometimes when I ate with acquaintances, I would go to the bathroom after I ate and I worried, “Will they think I’m trying to make myself throw up?”
Societal messages reinforce this need to prove myself. While it seems that women are scrambling to get skinny with crash diets and crazy workout routines, there is also the idea out there that “real women have curves.” Many of these ideas are a response to the fact that the media often glorifies thinness. While encouraging girls to be dangerously thin is certainly wrong, the correct response should not be demeaning naturally thin girls.
For example, you can like a Facebook page called “Curvy girls are better than skinny girls!” Likewise, articles like this one suggest that curvy women are funnier, more loveable and overall better than skinny women. Sometimes women are even told men won’t like them if they’re too skinny.
Of course acceptance of all body types important, but is a person really less attractive or even less human because she doesn’t have curves? Are thin girls imaginary? Curvy women don’t have to gain body confidence or self-esteem by degrading skinny ladies or by saying they’re “not real.” We are all equally human, and although some very thin women have genuine eating disorders, that doesn’t mean all of us do.
This overall negative attitude can lead to a negative body image among thinner people. According to Planned Parenthood’s Health and Information Services, a negative body image can lead to increased anxiety and depression, poor self-esteem, less social interaction and cessation of healthy activities that require people to show their bodies (for example, swimming, exercising and going to the doctor). Researchers at Bradley Hospital, Butler Hospital and Brown's Alpert Medical School have shown that body image is linked to physical health. According to a Science Daily article, teenage patients with negative body images were “more severely ill than other adolescent inpatients in a number of important domains.” The study’s lead author, Jennifer Dyl, Ph.D., said, “These findings underscore just how central feelings about one's appearance tend to be in the world of teenagers and how impairing these concerns can be.”
Celebrities and journalists have also noticed the double standard regarding weight. Kendall Jenner from “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” discussed her weight in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar. “I’m constantly criticized for being too skinny,” Jenner said. “I’m trying to gain weight but my body won’t let it happen. What people don’t understand is that calling someone too skinny is the same as calling someone too fat, it’s not a nice feeling.”
Similarly, a Contra Costa Times article discussed the idea, highlighting the difficulties “naturally skinny” people have even though many of them are healthy. Although there’s no need to walk on eggshells when talking to skinny ladies, the article quotes marriage and family therapist Margie Ryerson, who said that comments on a person’s weight can be hurtful.
“Even if it comes from a sense of caring, it’s not appropriate and can create distress and unhappiness for the person,” Ryerson said. “They can feel blamed and criticized.”
Overall, it’s important to remember that calling someone “too skinny” or claiming “real women have curves” can be hurtful to women who are thin. Skinny girls are insecure sometimes too, and no woman’s weight determines her beauty.

Dancing with the Stars’ Finale: Was Something Fishy With the Voting?

The "Dancing With the Stars" Season 16 results are in -- country singer Kellie Pickler and her pro partner Derek Hough were crowned the champions -- but this season's mirrorball win didn't come without controversy.
While the blonde dancing duo nailed their all-important freestyle dance and were worthy contenders for the title all season -- alternately trading leaderboard top spots with Disney star Zendaya Coleman and her partner Val Chmerkovskiy -- a voting glitch for the show's finale put a slightly scandalous spin on their win.
During Monday's live East Coast broadcast, host Tom Bergeron announced that the ABC.com website was down. Viewers in that time zone were instructed to vote for their favorite couple via texting, calling, or on Facebook.
When the website was eventually restored later that night, viewers clamored online to log their votes. Frontrunner Zendaya Coleman even tweeted to her fans, "Facebook and abc.com are back online. Don't forget to vote that way too…u register with email then u will get 5 votes!!"
But on Tuesday night's finale show, Tom Bergeron announced that due to the East Coast voting glitch, in fairness to all of the finalists, none of the ABC.com votes would count.
According to Today.com, pro dancer Val Chmerkovskiy's reaction to the news of the voting snafu was: "That's bull----! Well, good luck to everybody."
While the timing of the technical difficulty couldn't have been worse, East Coast viewers were ultimately given instructions on how to log their votes. In fairness to voters, those who later got through to the ABC.com website and were able to log votes that way should not have been discounted. There were alternate ways for everyone to vote, so why did the network scrap the website votes?
With this season's tight race in particular, every viewer vote mattered, especially since Kellie and Zendaya were neck in neck on the judges' leaderboard. (The Disney star scored one point higher than the "American Idol" alum on the finale night dances.)
The Hollywood Reporter noted that not all of the finalists seemed concerned by the voting glitch, reporting that backstage at the show, gymnast Aly Raisman was overheard saying that she was pretty sure that all of her fans had voted on Facebook. The Olympic gold medalist was the first one eliminated from the competition on Tuesday night.
After the finale results were revealed, Val Chmerkovskiy tweeted, "It was always about the dancing. First and foremost. And always will be Win or lose. Tnx to @Zendaya you got a small taste of what its about."

History of Facebook

Facebook is a social networking service launched in February 2004, owned and operated by Facebook, Inc. As of September 2012, Facebook has over one billion active users, more than half of them using Facebook on a mobile device. Users must register before using the site, after which they may create a personal profile, add other users as friends, and exchange messages, including automatic notifications when they update their profile. Additionally, users may join common-interest user groups, organized by workplace, school or college, or other characteristics, and categorize their friends into lists such as "People From Work" or "Close Friends".

Facebook was founded by Mark Zuckerberg with his college roommates and fellow Harvard University students Eduardo Saverin, Andrew McCollum, Dustin Moskovitz and Chris Hughes. The website's membership was initially limited by the founders to Harvard students, but was expanded to other colleges in the Boston area, the Ivy League, and Stanford University. It gradually added support for students at various other universities before opening to high school students, and eventually to anyone aged 13 and over. However, according to a May 2011 Consumer Reports survey, there are 7.5 million children under 13 with accounts and 5 million under 10, violating the site's terms of service.

A January 2009 Compete.com study ranked Facebook as the most used social networking service by worldwide monthly active users. Entertainment Weekly included the site on its end-of-the-decade "best-of" list, saying, "How on earth did we stalk our exes, remember our co-workers' birthdays, bug our friends, and play a rousing game of Scrabulous before Facebook?" Critics, such as Facebook Detox, state that Facebook has turned into a national obsession in the United States, resulting in vast amounts of time lost and encouraging narcissism. Quantcast estimates Facebook has 138.9 million monthly unique U.S. visitors in May 2011. According to Social Media Today, in April 2010 an estimated 41.6% (129.5 million) of the U.S. population had a Facebook account. Nevertheless, Facebook's market growth started to stall in some regions, with the site losing 7 million active users in the United States and Canada in May 2011.

The name of the service stems from the colloquial name for the book given to students at the start of the academic year by some university administrations in the United States to help students get to know each other. Facebook allows any users who declare themselves to be at least 13 years old to become registered users of the site.

Mark Zuckerberg wrote Facemash, the predecessor to Facebook, on October 28, 2003, while attending Harvard as a sophomore. According to The Harvard Crimson, the site was comparable to Hot or Not, and "used photos compiled from the online facebooks of nine houses, placing two next to each other at a time and asking users to choose the 'hotter' person

To accomplish this, Zuckerberg hacked into the protected areas of Harvard's computer network and copied the houses' private dormitory ID images. Harvard at that time did not have a student "facebook" (a directory with photos and basic information), though individual houses had been issuing their own paper facebooks since the mid-1980s. Facemash attracted 450 visitors and 22,000 photo-views in its first four hours online.

The site was quickly forwarded to several campus group list-servers, but was shut down a few days later by the Harvard administration. Zuckerberg was charged by the administration with breach of security, violating copyrights, and violating individual privacy, and faced expulsion. Ultimately, the charges were dropped.Zuckerberg expanded on this initial project that semester by creating a social study tool ahead of an art history final, by uploading 500 Augustan images to a website, with one image per page along with a comment section. He opened the site up to his classmates, and people started sharing their notes.

The following semester, Zuckerberg began writing code for a new website in January 2004. He was inspired, he said, by an editorial in The Harvard Crimson about the Facemash incident. On February 4, 2004, Zuckerberg launched "Thefacebook", originally located at thefacebook.com.

Six days after the site launched, three Harvard seniors, Cameron Winklevoss, Tyler Winklevoss, and Divya Narendra, accused Zuckerberg of intentionally misleading them into believing he would help them build a social network called HarvardConnection.com, while he was instead using their ideas to build a competing product. The three complained to the Harvard Crimson, and the newspaper began an investigation. The three later filed a lawsuit against Zuckerberg, subsequently settling.

Membership was initially restricted to students of Harvard College, and within the first month, more than half the undergraduate population at Harvard was registered on the service. Eduardo Saverin (business aspects), Dustin Moskovitz (programmer), Andrew McCollum (graphic artist), and Chris Hughes soon joined Zuckerberg to help promote the website. In March 2004, Facebook expanded to Stanford, Columbia, and Yale. It soon opened to the other Ivy League schools, Boston University, New York University, MIT, and gradually most universities in Canada and the United States.

Facebook was incorporated in mid-2004, and the entrepreneur Sean Parker, who had been informally advising Zuckerberg, became the company's president. In June 2004, Facebook moved its base of operations to Palo Alto, California. It received its first investment later that month from PayPal co-founder Peter Thiel. The company dropped The from its name after purchasing the domain name facebook.com in 2005 for $200,000

Facebook launched a high-school version in September 2005, which Zuckerberg called the next logical step. At that time, high-school networks required an invitation to join. Facebook later expanded membership eligibility to employees of several companies, including Apple Inc. and Microsoft. Facebook was then opened on September 26, 2006, to everyone of age 13 and older with a valid email address.

On October 24, 2007, Microsoft announced that it had purchased a 1.6% share of Facebook for $240 million, giving Facebook a total implied value of around $15 billion. Microsoft's purchase included rights to place international ads on Facebook. In October 2008, Facebook announced that it would set up its international headquarters in Dublin, Ireland. In September 2009, Facebook said that it had turned cash-flow positive for the first time. In November 2010, based on SecondMarket Inc., an exchange for shares of privately held companies, Facebook's value was $41 billion (slightly surpassing eBay's) and it became the third largest U.S. Web company after Google and Amazon

Traffic to Facebook increased steadily after 2009. More people visited Facebook than Google for the week ending March 13, 2010.

In March 2011 it was reported that Facebook removes approximately 20,000 profiles from the site every day for various infractions, including spam, inappropriate content and underage use, as part of its efforts to boost cyber security.

In early 2011, Facebook announced plans to move to its new headquarters, the former Sun Microsystems campus in Menlo Park, California.

Release of statistics by DoubleClick showed that Facebook reached one trillion page views in the month of June 2011, making it the most visited website of those tracked by DoubleClick.

According to the Nielsen Media Research study, released in December 2011, Facebook is the second most accessed website in the US (behind Google).

In March 2012, Facebook announced App Center, an online mobile store which sells applications that connect to Facebook. The store will be available to iPhone, Android and mobile web users.

Facebook, Inc. held an initial public offering on May 17, 2012, negotiating a share price of $38 apiece, valuing the company at $104 billion, the largest valuation to date for a newly listed public company.

On July 2012, Facebook added a gay marriage icon to its timeline feature.

On August 23, 2012 Facebook released the much anticipated update to its iOS app, version 5.0. The app, which did not receive positive sentiments from its users, was rebuilt from the ground up; the app no longer uses page views which made it slow in the past but now utilizes code that uses native elements of iOS
