Hello and welcome to Dancing With The Stars, THE RESULTS! Tonight, the first couple of the season is sent home…saying goodbye to the mirrorball trophy forever. The show opens with a pro dance to Lady Gaga’s Edge of Glory. Is it wrong how much I’ve missed these dances? The dance was choreographed by Lacey. Tom announces that the new members of the troupe will be introduced later.
Rob and Cheryl, Elisabetta and Val and Ricki and Derek are called to the stage first. We get a montage of their performances from last night before getting to their results.
Ricki and Derek: SAFE!
Elisabetta and Val: SAFE! (Holy delayed reaction Batman!)
Rob and Cheryl: IN JEOPARDY!
His picture is put on what may be the wall of shame. Everyone now knows he is in jeopardy.
Brooke talks to our two safe couples. Elisabetta thanks everyone and Val calls it a very pleasant surprise. They hope to impress with next week’s quickstep.
Ricki and Derek have the jive next week and joke about how she makes him nervous. He thinks she is dedicated and all around great.
Tom quips that Val only saw the end of Titanic because of the ‘I won’t let go’ comment.
Filler piece on everyone getting to know each other. It is actually quite cute.
Kym and Tony dance while Harry Conick Jr. sings. He reminds me of Frank Sinatra. I am falling in love! His voice is velvety and sexy. I’ve always loved him, but love him even more now. Can we get him for next season?
The next couples to find out their fates are Hope and Maks, Kristin and Mark and Metta and Peta.
Hope and Maks: SAFE!
Metta and Peta: IN JEOPARDY!
Kristin and Mark: SAFE!
The new troupe is introduced. Some old faces, some new but it went so fast I missed names! Their performance is fun and exciting…I like this addition to the show.
Preview of Revenge…I can’t wait to see it, mostly because I am curious to see how it works as a series.
LMFAO perform Party Rock Anthem. Mark and Lacey dance and even Bruno WTF Toniloni gets in on the action. (Tom’s words, not mine)
JR and Karina, Chaz and Lacey and Chynna and Tony come to the stage.
Chynna and Tony: SAFE!
JR and Karina: SAFE!
Chaz and Lacey: SAFE!
Look on Lacey’s face. Priceless. The love between the three couples and everyone ran up to them? Tearjerker moment. LOVE!
Brooke interviews the remaining three couples. Nancy’s kids were dancing all night like Mommy. David was amazed about how happy and proud his daughter Coco was. Carson is ready to make his new costumes. They all head to the stage.
David and Kym: SAFE!
Nancy and Tristan: IN JEOPARDY!
Carson and Anna: SAFE!
Rob and Cheryl are called safe, leaving Metta and Peta and Nancy and Tristan in (not necessarily) the bottom two. Len gives them some words of wisdom before it is announced that the couple with the lowest overall scores and therefore leaving right now is…..Metta and Peta. I’m not surprised…only because he danced so early and kind of got lost in the shuffle. Metta gives Peta a shout out and thanks everyone at ABC. He says he had a great time and dances one last time with Peta.
Join us next week for our eleven remaining couples taking on the jive or quickstep. Goodnight!
