Fee for Indian Visa

The visa fee depends upon the type of applied for and duration of visa. Visa fee is divided into various types depending upon the case viz; Basic fee, special fee, processing fee by out-sourcing agency. During the online registration process, at the end of the process the basic fee shall be displayed. However, this fee shall be indicative only and final fee shall be charged while submitting the application at the respective counters Fee once received are non refundable even if the visa application is withdrawn, the visa is not granted, or if visa issued is of shorter duration of period than applied for or otherwise issued or returned at a time or on terms and conditions that may vary from those sought by the applicant. Visa Processing Time

Upon receipt of the Visa Application through Indian Visa Application Center or directly, the Indian Mission/ Post requires a minimum of three working days to process the case and issue a visa depending upon the nationality and excluding special cases.

Photo Requirements

Online India Visa Application allows the Applicant to upload a digital photograph of self to complete the Regular visa application.
Guidelines/procedure to upload a digital photograph
The digital photograph to be uploaded along with the Visa application should meet the following requirements:

• Format – JPEG
• Size
  • Minimum 10 KB
  • Maximum 300 KB
• The height and width of the Photo must be equal.
• Photo should present Full face, front view, eyes open.
• Center head within frame and present full head from top of hair to bottom of chin.
• Background should be plain light colored or white background.
• No shadows on the face or on the background.
• Without borders.
• Make sure that photo presents full head from top of hair to bottom of chin. Head should measure 1 inch to 1-3/8 inches (25mm to 35mm). Make sure eye height is between 1-1/8 inches to 1-3.

Important Technical Information for Regular Visa application

• The applicant must also have Adobe Acrobat Reader version 7.0 or higher installed on your PC in order to download and print the completed application form.

How to Get a UK Student Visa

Want to study in the UK? Find out whether you need to apply for a UK student visa, and how the application process works.
UK visa requirements and general immigration criteria are managed by the UK Border Agency (UKBA), which has an easy-to-navigate site to help you determine whether you need a UK student visa. While Swiss nationals and those from the EU/European Economic Area (EEA) states are treated as home students in the UK, all other international students are likely to need a visa to study in the UK.

Types of UK student visa

If you’re doing a short course or an 11-month English language course, and are over 18 years old, you may be eligible for the student visitor visa. This is valid up to 6 months for short courses and can be extended for a stay of up to 11 months for English language courses. If you’re doing a longer course, you’ll need to make sure your chosen institution is on the UKBA list of trusted sponsors. You can either apply for a Tier 4 (Child) student visa (if you’re aged 4-17) or a Tier 4 (General) student visa for those aged 18 and over.
You may also apply for entry to the UK as a prospective student. To do this you must prove you have been in touch with some UK universities. This visa will be valid for six months, during which time you may study – though it is advisable to upgrade to a full student visa sooner rather than later.

UK student visa requirements
Your course provider may be willing to help you to apply for a UK student visa once you have been offered a place on a course, so it’s always worth asking. You can apply for the visa up to three months in advance of the start date of your course. Make sure to allow plenty of time, as average visa processing times may vary.
UK student visas are awarded on a points-based system. In order to meet all the UK student visa requirements, you’ll need to provide: 

• Details of your passport
• A recent photograph
• A 'Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies’ (CAS) form from your course provider (worth 30 points)
• Proof of adequate English language skills, through one of the UKBA-approved English language tests (or perhaps through an alternate test or Skype interview with your course provider)
• Proof you have financial support throughout your stay in the UK (worth 10 points)

This proof of financial support can take the form of bank statements or a letter from your financial sponsor, showing you can cover your tuition fees, accommodation and living costs. You may be required to show you have a budget of at least £800-1,000 (US$1,320-1,650) per month.
You may also be required to produce documents showing your academic qualifications, and to attend an interview or biometric test, which includes a digital scan of your fingerprints. Depending on your country of origin, you may also be required to have certain medical vaccinations.
Using your UK student visa
When you enter the UK, a UK Border Agency officer will put a stamp on your passport that states the duration of your stay in the UK. You cannot extend your stay beyond this period. Before you arrive, you must make sure you are fully immunized, remembering to pack your immunization record in your hand luggage in case you are asked to show the Border Agency officer at your UK port of entry.
While UK student visitor visa holders and prospective student visa holders are not allowed to work in the UK, Tier 4 student visa holders can work a certain amount of hours per week in the holiday periods.

Visa Fees:
1. For student visa you have to pay Tk 14355, in favour of "British High Commission".
2. All visa fees will need to be paid (Bank Drafts) at designated branches of BRAC Bank Ltd.
3. Applicants will be given a receipt (which will be valid for 30 days from the next working day).
4. The receipt should then be submitted with an application form to one of the Visa Application Center (VAC) or the British High Commission's commercial partner VFS Center

Finger Scans & Photograph For Visa
All persons applying for UK visas, irrespective of nationality, will have to apply in person to one of the VACs to have their finger scans and digital photograph taken.

Photography Specification:
1. One recent, passport-sized (45mm x 35mm), colour photograph. The photograph should be:
a. Taken against a light coloured (white, off-white etc.) background
b. Clear and of good quality and not framed or backed
c. Printed on normal photographic paper
d. Full face without sunglasses, hat or other head covering unless for cultural or religious reasons

You have to submit the following supporting documents:
1. Visa Application Form >VAF 32. A passport with at least 6 months validity. There must have visa pages to paste the visa document. You can also submit your old passport, if available.
3. One passport sized photograph. This must not be more than 6 months old. Please see photography specification described above.
4. The appropriate visa fee.

There are a number of ways you can apply to the College and your geographical location, your nationality, and the time available before your chosen course begins are all important considerations when deciding which method to use.
The College Registry is very flexible and will try to help you whatever your circumstances. Acceptance documentation is sent by email, usually within 24 hours of the Registry receiving your application.

If you are in or near London the best method is to come into the College and apply in person and benefit from help and advice from one of our friendly course advisors. In most cases we will be able to give you an instant decision on your applcation and you will be able to leave the College with an Offer Letter. You do not need an appointment to see a Course Advisor. The College is open 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday (except Public Holidays) and you are welcome to visit at any time during these hours.

Indian music follows different rules to Western music, so allow several weeks to get any benefit from music courses. Most centres provide instruments, but invest in your own if you mean to continue to play at home.

Visit Sweden : Online Visa Application

The simplest and fastest way to submit an application for a Schengen visa to visit Sweden is to do so electronically. However, in order to apply electronically you must fulfil certain requirements. You can see what the requirements are below. Read this page carefully before you begin.

To be able to apply for a visa electronically, you must:

• schedule an appointment with the Embassy of Sweden in Washington, DC before applying online
• have a valid email address that will continue to be valid throughout the entire application process
• pay with a credit card: Visa or MasterCard
• have access to a computer with the correct technical specifications (further information about the technical requirements on the Swedish Migration Board website)
• have access to the required supporting documents in electronic form

You cannot use this service if:

• Sweden is represented by another country in the country from which you are applying
• you wish to apply for a visa for another Schengen country which is represented by Sweden in the country from which you are applying
• you wish to apply for a work permit at the same time

Fees for visas and permits for visits

You must pay a charge to apply for a visa, an extension of a visa or a residence permit for a visit. The charge will not be returned if you do not get a visa, an extended visa or a residence permit for a visit.

Fees for a visa

If you submit your visa application at a Swedish mission abroad, the fee is EUR 60. The visa fee for minors aged 6-12 years is 35 euro. As a rule, the fee is payable in local currency. Further information is available from the embassy or consulate general where you will submit your application. There are however certain exceptions to this rule.
 

No fee

Totally exempt from the fee are

• children under the age of six
• schoolchildren, students in higher education, postgraduate students and their accompanying professors — on condition that the purpose of the trip is study or education
• researchers — on condition that the purpose of the trip is scientific research
• Citizens of Japan
• relatives of citizens of the EU, Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Switzerland if they are travelling with the relative or will meet in connection with the journey

Relatives of citizens of the EU, Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Switzerland must present a certificate which confirms the marriage or familial relationship. The following persons are classified as relatives:

• husband or wife
• registered partner
• common-law spouse (does not apply to persons co-habiting with Swiss citizens)
• a child under the age of 21 or an older child who is financially dependent on its parents
• parents who are financially dependent on children in Sweden.

Relatives of Swedish citizens must, however, pay a fee to apply for a visa.
 

Reduced fee

 
Citizens of countries which are signatories to the Visa Facilitation Agreement with the EU pay a reduced fee or are exempt from paying any fee. Information on what applies to respective countries can be obtained from embassies and consulates general of the EU Member States in these countries. The signatory countries are:

• Montenegro
• Russia

Extension of visa

There is no charge for an extension application owing to force majeure or humanitarian grounds. However, an application for an extension of a visa on grounds of strong personal reasons costs EUR 30.

The Migration Board does not accept cash payment

The Swedish Migration Board does not accept cash payment. If you cannot pay with a credit card you will receive a paying-in slip when you submit your application in person.
