How to raise your funds and travel to dream destinations

Travel is not a cheap hobby, so often one is faced with a dilemma of how to save enough money to travel.
money saving tips
Here are some tips and ideas how to accumulate enough wealth for your next trip.
  1. Start with writing down your income and expenses. When you have enough record (a couple of months or so), check where you spend most and then make sure these are the necessary areas. For example, how many bars of chocolate do you buy a month? It looks like a trinket but eventually it adds up. They say, cut down on one coffee cup a day and that‘s a week in Greece islands after a year!
  2. Open a savings account and don‘t touch it.  Dedicate a fixed daily fee to the cause and transfer money at the end of the week. For example, if your daily fee is $10, in 7 days it makes $70, and it amounts to $3640 in a year, which is quite a fortune in some countries. You can use this interest calculator to check how much you can save.
  3. Plan your trip in advance for better budgeting and discounts.
  4. Sell your junk. One person‘s junk is another person‘s treasure. However, it‘s sometimes easier said than done because it can cost to get a listing in the printed media or auctions charge a small fee. And you need to wait until you actually sell your stuff. How about looking if you can join groups on Facebook where people deal with this privately?
  5. Sell books you no longer read. This is a quick way to receive some revenue. Second-hand bookshops usually pay only a fraction of the price you initially paid, but you clean some space at home and receive some money at the same time. Alternatively, first read a book you want to buy in a library-you will be surprised how many books you will not buy.
  6. Cut off the cable TV. If you have a computer and the Internet at home, you don‘t really need a TV these days. Amount of money saved can be a pleasant surprise.
  7. Have a special box for petty cash. There is always small change in your pockets or purse. When you compile enough coins, you can change them into banknotes in a bank and put them into your savings account for travel (banks may charge you a fee if you deposit a lot of money in coins but exchange of coins into banknotes can be free of charge).  The tendency is for the coin box to fill up very quickly.
  8. Are you using the cheapest mobile phone plan for your needs? Also, compare what their competitors are offering.
  9. The same goes for the Internet. You can give it up and start using computers in your local public library. It‘s less convenient than a private connection but you don‘t spend entire day glued to your Facebook. And if you own a smart phone, your social networks and e-mail are with you anyway.
  10. The car- necessity or luxury? By „car“ I mean the additives of petrol/gas, amortization, insurance, service, parking fees…It might be worthwhile starting to use public transportation, cycle or simply walk on foot.
  11. Cook at home. Eating out is expensive even if you hunt day offers. The highest mark-up is on drinks-you might pay the amount of the whole carton of juice for only one glass in a café or a restaurant and you also need to leave a tip.
  12. Clothes. If you want to wear new clothes every season, I‘m afraid it just eats a hole in your savings. Before actually buying an item of clothes, ask yourself: how many times will I wear it? Can I match it to my other clothes? How long will it serve me? Am I buying it because I need or because it‘s on sale? Also, try second-hand clothes shops where for a fraction of the sum you will spend in a brand shop you will buy clothes that might be a bit worn or completely new.
  13. Free entertainment. Check out listings for free church concerts, gallery openings, museum nights, etc.  Ask your friends for advice. Can you pool money and go somewhere together? Are there any “buy 2 and receive 1 free” deals?
  14. Move back to your parents to live rent fee (if they let you, of course) or rent a place with other people to share the bills. That can be annoying but freedom costs a lot of money.

Share prices at the Dhaka Stock Exchange today november 17 2011 : Share prices at the Dhaka Stock Exchange continued to climb for the second consecutive day on Thursday after the government’s intervention to stabilise the volatile market.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina Wednesday night held an emergency meeting at Gono Bhaban with the Securities and Exchange Commission and other stakeholders to find ways to prop up the market.

A detailed plan will come out in a day or two on how to gear up the market, Arif Khan, member of the SEC, told reporters after the meeting.

The general index (DGEN) of the premier bourse clambered 226 points from Wednesday’s closing of 4,987 to reach 5,214 points on Thursday at 12:23pm when this report was filed.

Total trade was at 62,724 while its value equalled around Tk 219 crore within the one and a half hours after the resumption of trading at 11:00am. Of the issues traded, 233 advanced, seven declined while one remained unchanged. For the latest updates on the stock market, visit This site regular.

PM's words send stocks soaring

Dhaka, Nov 17 (bdnews24.com) — A day after prime minister Sheikh Hasina met stock market stakeholders, turnover at the premier bourse topped Tk 4.16 billion, exceeding Wednesday's turnover by Tk 2.85 billion with most issues marking a healthy rise.

The benchmark general index gained 179.4 points or 3.6 percent to end at 5166.96 Thursday. Gainers heavily outnumbered losers by 238 to 16 while only one issue ended at the previous day's price.

The DSE benchmark index shot up 150.94 points or 3.02 percent to 5138.5 points after the first six minutes of trading on the last trading day of the week.

The index, however, lost slightly but started gaining again to stand at 5182.15 points with a gain of 194.59 points or 3.90 percent at 12:02pm. It rose 249.39 points or five percent to 5236.95 points at 1:03pm.

Since news of the meeting got out on Tuesday, stocks soared in Wednesday's trading.

The DGEN spiked 338.23 points or 7.27 percent to 4987.56 points at the close of the second last day of the week's trading.

The key index had plummeted 559 points from the start of the week's trading. It lost 341 points on Sunday and Monday, and on Tuesday, it shed 228.20 points or 4.67 percent to 4649.32 points at close.

It was decided at the Wednesday night's meeting that no question would be asked about 'undisclosed income' invested in the stock market, and a decision to announce short-, medium- and long-term plans in a day or two.

The meet followed a massive fall in stock prices for three consecutive days after the nine-day Eid recess and a series of street protests by small investors.

The high-profile meeting decided that there will be short-, medium- and long-term plans announced "in a day or two" to rescue the small investors

"The prime minister has said everything that's needed will be done for the stock market," Arif Khan, an SEC member, said.

Battered share prices soared on the two bourses on Wednesday buoyed by the news of the brainstorming, however.

Dutch-Bangla Bank Limited (DBBL) is a scheduled join venture private commercial bank in Bangladesh. The bank is established jointly by local Bangladeshi parties spearheaded by M Sahabuddin Ahmed (Founder & Chairman) and the Dutch company FMO. DBBL was established under the Bank Companies Act 1991 and incorporated as a public limited company under the Companies Act 1994 in Bangladesh with the primary objective to carry on all kinds of banking business in Bangladesh. In June 1996, DBBL started its formal operation in banking sector. Since then DBBL gained its huge popularity because of its social welfare activities and affordable banking service.

Stock Exchange

DBBL is listed with both the stock exchanges in Bangladesh, the Dhaka Stock Exchange Limited (DSE) and the Chittagong Stock Exchange Limited (CSE).
Dutch-Bangla Bank Limited is commonly referred as DBBL, Dutch-Bangla, Dutch Bangla and Dutch Bangla Bank among its employees and consumers.
DBBL is most widely recognized for its donations to social causes and its IT investment (largest ATM network). However it has recently stated that it will stop expansion on its ATM network as the current numbers have exceeded demand and hence diminishing returns (if any). Although it is widely believed it is a loss-making/subsidized unit which DBBL rationalizes as quasi CSR.
After instability and frequent management changes in its initial years, DBBL overcame these obstacles to establish rapid growth since the year 2000. The bank grew its reputation through social work rather than profits. The bank's conservative nature, long-term strategies, hefty social donations and technology investments have always led to modest but steady profits. DBBL has been known to be overly conservative in its banking practices. Much of the success and strategy has been attributed to the leadership of the founder chairman, M Sahabuddin Ahmed.
Despite being the largest corporate donor in Bangladesh, investor confidence was unhindered. In March 2008, DBBL share prices reached Tk. 14325.80 in the Dhaka Stock Exchange, setting the record for the highest stock price in the history of Bangladesh. It is also one of the few banks that does not participate in merchant/investment banking (which can lead to sporadic growth).

ATM Networks

With more than 1000 of ATM booths all over the country, DBBL's has the largest ATM networks in Bangladesh. DBBL offering free access to its ATM network for its subscriber. This network helped DBBL gaining more popularity and confidence among subscriber and expanding banking opportunity to mass people. This entire network is being maintained by its own IT staff without any 3rd party dependency.
With this vast number of ATMs installed, Dutch-Bangla Bank initiated a co-branded ATM initiative in Bangladesh where the bank would provide ATMs and networking free of charge to any bank's branches. Mutual Trust Bank was the first bank to take the advantage and the first co-branded ATM in Bangladesh started operation on 28 May 2008.

Fast Track

In 2010, Dutch Bangla Bank Limited (DBBL) introduced "Fast Track" in the country which is the first of its kind in the country that is like a mini branch. Along with the generic ATM withdrawal service, it lets the customer deposit small amounts of money to DBBL account with a limit of 20,000 BDT. Moreover, the Fast Track also provides some account opening service and loan information. By 2010, DBBL has installed 50 Fast Tracks in Dhaka, Chittagong and Sylhet cities.

Internet Payment Gateway

Dutch-Bangla Bank Limited (DBBL) introduced Internet Payment Gateway to facilitates E-commerce in Bangladesh. Any Visa/MasterCard card holder (local or overseas) can user their card to pay DBBL authorized e-Merchants against their purchase of goods and service. They can also pay DESCO electricity bills. DBBL is working with airlines, railways, Utility companies, educational institutions and Stock Exchanges for facilitating purchase of ticket, payment of bills/fees and IPO subscription through the Internet Payment Gateway. It is also working to make an interface with the renowned PayPal payment gateway. Once everything in operation, this will change the payment mechanism in Bangladesh and will reduce public suffering. It will also boost the E-commerce and open the door for freelancer and ICT company to earn more remittance for the country.

Mobile Banking

Dutch-Bangla Bank Limited (DBBL) is the first bank in Bangladesh, who introduced mobile banking service to bring poor people from remote area under smart banking service. Bangladesh Bank has already allowed 10 banks to initiate mobile banking with the aim to connect the deprived section of the society with the modern banking system, DBBL is the first runner among of them.
DBBL is operating this new innovative banking service through Banglalink and Citycell mobile operator and their approved agents through out the country. One can create a bank account visiting any of the approved agents showing proper documents with a fee of Tk 10. Subscriber must own a mobile phone to get the service. Once the account is created, a 4 digit mobile banking PIN code will be provided to perform all sort of banking activities securely and secretly. Subscriber can withdraw and deposit cash amount from his mobile going to the agents and agents will guide and help the customers if there is any difficulty. Since, mobile network is extremely insecure and data are sent unencrypted, a customer can deposit or withdraw money five times a day and he can deposit or draw Tk 5,000 per day. One percent of the transaction amount or Tk 5, whichever is higher, will be taken as cash-in-charges. In case of cash out the charge will be 2 percent of the transaction amount or Tk 10. However, the registration fee, salary and remittance disbursement services will be provided free of cost.

Stock Market Advice – Stock Market Definitions

The best stock market advice is to first understand the definitions of what the stock market is comprised of and to understand basic strategies that are used to make money in the stock market.  The Internet has opened up a wide array of stock market advice that is easily accessible to investors, including stock market definitions and basic strategies, which are outlined below.
The Stock Market is really a collection of stock trading markets, which themselves are comprised of thousands of individual stocks.  The major stock trading markets in the United States are the New York Stock Exchange Euronext (NYSE) and the National Association of Securities Dealers Automated Quotations (NASDAQ).  In 2008, The American Stock Exchange (AMEX), which was considered another major stock trading market, was purchased by the NYSE, and is now a division within the NYSE.  The NYSE and NASDAQ have stringent listing requirements for companies that wish to have their stocks traded on their stock markets.  These requirements include such metrics as maintaining:  a minimum number of shareholders, a minimum bid price for the stock, and a minimum market capitalization.
In addition to the major stock trading markets, tens of thousands of company’s stocks trade on Over The Counter (OTC) stock quotation systems, which include the Over The Counter Bulletin Board (OTC BB) and OtcMarkets.com (Pink Sheets).  Stocks that trade on the OTC BB do not have to meet any listing requirements, with the exception that they must be fully compliant in their reporting to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).  There are no listing requirements for stocks that trade on the Pink Sheets.  However, Pink Sheets has its own tiered ranking system for stocks that trade on their quotation system.  This ranking system segregates companies based on their reporting status to both the SEC and to Pink Sheets.
There are three major Stock Market Indexes that are used to gauge stock market performance, including: the Dow Jones Industrial Average, the NASDAQ Composite index and the Standards and Poors 500 index (S&P 500).  These indexes are comprised of companies that are selected based on their representation of segments of the economy.  The Dow Jones Industrial Average index focuses on industrial companies.  The NASDAQ Composite index focuses on technology companies.  The S&P 500 index is a broader index that focuses on a wide variety of companies.

Stock Market Advice – Stock Market Investment Strategies

Stock market advice as it pertains to stock market investment strategies comes down to one basic investment rule that is known as buy low sell high.  The whole point of investing in the stock market is to make money, and to do so you have to buy when a stock is low and sell it when it is high.  To better understand what a stock is and how to value a stock to determine when to buy and sell, see Advice On Stocks – Definitions and Valuation Method.
Understanding how the stock market performs in relation to economic cycles can improve your investment performance.  Many of the best buying opportunities in the stock market occur when the economy is going into a recession and a stock market selloff occurs.  There’s an old saying on Wall Street, “buy stocks when nobody else wants them”.  This is perhaps the best stock market advice of all, since eventually the stock economy will grow again, companies will report growing earnings, and the stock market will respond by moving higher.

The Chittagong Stock Exchange and the Recent Market Crash

The Chittagong Stock Exchange is the second largest market in Bangladesh. Within the country, only the Dhaka Stock Exchange is larger. The CSE was founded in October of 1995 after permission was granted from Bangladesh’s Securities and Exchange Commission. Since its inception, the exchange has grown to include dozens of listed companies ranging from AB Bank Limited to Uttara Finance and Investment, LTD. Unfortunately, controversy has erupted within the last year involving both the Chittagong Stock Exchange as well as the Dhaka Stock Exchange.

The Chittagong Stock Exchange and the 2011 Bangladesh Share Market Scam

It is no secret that the world is currently in a state of financial turmoil. Though western markets and economies started to collapse in 2008, the Bangladesh markets crashed in late 2010. The CSE had been known for its bullish market behavior up until the final months of 2010, but its reputation suddenly turned bearish thanks to what has become known as the 2011 Bangladesh share market scam. Due to the crash caused by this scam, the Chittagong Stock Exchange lost 1,800 points between December of 2010 and January of 2011. Financial experts believe that the crash was artificially engineered in order to benefit a small number of investors at the expense of the majority of market players. Massive protests began to take shape, and the government was pressured into investigating potential wrongdoing.
A probe was launched in early 2011 by the government of Bangladesh, and its findings were published in April. The findings of the probe revealed that the crash was caused by the dishonest dealings of approximately 60 nefarious individuals. The published report from the probe contained a number of recommendations including a complete overhaul of the Securities and Exchange Commission.
At this time, none of the report’s recommendations has been implemented. However, serious changes must be made if the markets are to recover. Because of the current uncertainty surrounding the Bangladesh markets, it is not advised to invest in the Chittagong Stock Exchange until major adjustments are finally implemented.

Three steps to successful investment in Bangladesh stock markets ( DHAKA STOCK EXCHANGE: secret info )

LIKE other sectors of Bangladesh economy, share market is also hardly diversified in terms of types of securities it offers: 17 mutual funds, eight debentures, and 275 stocks! Thus, to me, making money on Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) is much easier than on New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) with simple techniques. One might think it would have been impossible for an investor to lose money during a period marked by exceptional gain. But some investors did and stood as "demonstrators" in front of DSE as the hapless ones bought shares only when they felt comfort in doing so and then proceeded to sell when the headlines made them uneasy. Those investors forget the basic rule of investing: Buy undervalued shares and sell overvalued one.

Before you start investing in share markets in Bangladesh, focus yourself on three points. First; How long your investment horizon is; the longer your investment horizon, the more money you will make because stocks, in the long run, goes up. The investment Guru and also world's wealthiest man (as of February 11, 2008) Warren Buffett in one of his article, "Buy American. I am." on the daily New York Times (NYT) on October 16th, 2008 says, "….fears regarding the long-term prosperity of the nation's many sound companies make no sense. These businesses will indeed suffer earnings hiccups, as they always have. But most major companies will be setting new profit records 5, 10 and 20 years from now." Our investors hardly have such a long investment horizon as Mr. Buffett though his optimism is true for our stock markets too. But, all of us want to be rich overnight. Earning money is not that easy unless you are in politics!

Second, ask yourself: How much return do you want? Sell out your position whenever you exceed your target profit margin rather than getting greedy. Third, also understand that there is a trade off between risk and return: the more risk you take, the more money you will make. So, be sure about your own level of risk tolerance.

In addition, information plays most vital role in investment decision making. Thus, one needs to know the sources of information. Most information sources can be obtained on a company's financial statement which you can collect from the company's register office or from the Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC) library. In addition, you should be a keen reader of the financial pages of daily newspapers. Bangladesh already has few daily, weekly or fortnightly specialising on finance, e.g., the daily financial express. The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) website or the respective company's website can also provide some information regarding your investment decision. AIMS of Bangladesh also have a weekly market review on its website focusing on stock markets in Bangladesh on their website. However, still the SEC has to play a big role to create a mechanism to provide information to investors.

Though one investment suggestion does not fit all since investment advice mainly depends on investor's goal and level of risk tolerance, here are three classic steps to invest successfully in a stock market: First, though it is difficult, purchases of shares in a company that appears able to sustain above average earnings growth for, at least, five years. Picking stocks with growing sales is the most important secret of investing in stock market.

Consistent growth not only increases the earnings of the firm but also boosts the multiple that market is willing to pay for those earnings which will skyrocket your capital gain. Thus, the purchaser of a stock whose earnings begin to grow rapidly has a potential of double benefit - both increased earnings and capital gain.

Second, never pay more for a stock than can reasonably be justified by a firm foundation of value. Though one can never guess the exact intrinsic value of a share, he can roughly evaluate when a stock seems to be relatively priced. The price/earning (P/E) ratio is a good place to start. Not only buy stock with low P/E ratio but also look for growth situations that the market has not already recognised by bidding the stock's multiple to a large premium. So, buy stocks whose P/Es are low relative to their growth prospects. If one can be even reasonably accurate in picking companies that do indeed enjoy above-average growth, he will also be rewarded with above average returns. However, different software is also available online to value a share price for free!

Third, don't trade too much. Research shows that frequent trading of shares costs an investor in terms of fees, commissions, etc., which decrease return of an investor substantially. Moreover, you have to pay tax on your realised gain whenever you sell off your shares (though we don't pay taxes!).

Buy shares in this declining market now. Warren Buffett shares his investment principle: "Be fearful when others are greedy, and be greedy when others are fearful". One hardly can predict the short-term movements of the stock market. What is likely is that, in the long run, the market will move higher, perhaps substantially so. So, buy shares of fundamentally sound companies now, hold it and make money. If you wait for the robins, spring will be over. Buy now. Pay less, sell high and start making money.

What Went Wrong With The Dhaka Stock Exchange?

There are financial markets located throughout the world. Some are larger than others and represent more of the global economy. However, many countries that have lagged behind the rest of the world economically have their own emerging markets. In Bangladesh, this is the case with their primary securities market being the Dhaka stock exchange. This market has recently seen a bubble collapse similar to the one experienced by US markets in 2009 and 2010. This has left many people wondering what went wrong with the Dhaka stock exchange.
The History of Dhaka Stock Exchange
This market actually traces its origins back to the incorporation of the East Pakistan Stock Exchange Association Ltd in 1954. Actual trading did not begin until 1956. The name was changed by removing the word "Association" in June of 1962. In May of 1964, the name Dhaka Stock Exchange was adopted. Trade was halted in 1971 and resumed in Bangladesh 5 years later.

The market experienced a crash in 1996 when bullish investors forced stock prices to rise well beyond their actual value and created a bubble that burst. The same thing has happened again in 2010.

The Growth of Dhaka Stock Exchange in Last Few Years

From 2003 to March 2010, this market has experienced steady growth in market capitalisation and share prices. On the surface, this looks like a positive factor. To a certain extent, this is true. The market fundamentals have remained solid with steady growth until February of 2010. Then, the market began to experience a sudden surge in stock prices and market capitalisation that was not supported by the fundamentals.

A portion of this can be blamed on an exaggerated increase in the market index that resulted from the addition of Grameen Phone IPO. However, this only explains a small portion of the surge.

Putting this growth into perspective is important to realising what happened to the market. At the end of 2003, the total market capitalisation was a mere 1.7 billion US dollars. Then a bull run began in the market that has resulted in total market capitalisation of 34.2 Billion US Dollars.

Turnover, total stock sales per day has also seen an incredible increase. In 2003, total turnover was only Tk 140 million. In February of 2010, this figure had increased ten thousand percent to Tk 13.2 billion.

The Crash of Dhaka Stock Exchange

What caused the crash in this market? A sharp increase on the demand side unsupported by fundamental analysis of the stocks being traded lead to incredibly exaggerated prices being paid for stocks that had an actual value of less than half the price per share.

Traders allowing emotions to guide them rather than study of fundamental market indicators created a market in which investors could not see anything but gains in value in the near future.

A large number of foreign investors entering the market for the purpose of taking as much profit as possible contributed a great deal to this problem. It was magnified when these foreign investors began selling off shares to take their profits and pull their money out of the market.

In the end, domestic mutual fund managers and foreign investors began to fear a market correction looming in the future and sold off as many shares as possible in order to hold their assets as cash until this correction took place.

All of the stocks showed extremely high P/E ratios. While a high ratio can be an indicator of healthy economic growth, Ratios reaching extremely high levels should have been a warning sign that stock prices were becoming exaggerated beyond reason.

A Lesson for Investors in Other Emerging Markets

There are several emerging markets scattered around the world. Most of these are experiencing positive growth, indicating that the economies of these countries are improving.

The primary lesson investors in these markets should learn from the Dhaka example is that allowing emotions to rule one's decisions can create a falsely inflated market price for shares that are unsupported by the value of the companies they represent.

Investors must step back and examine the fundamentals behind the stock values and assure themselves that they are getting an actual value for their money. The P/E ratio is an excellent example of a method of calculating actual value of stocks. Ratios of 1 or more can indicate a company experiencing positive economic growth. However, if these ratios rise beyond a certain amount, this can be a warning sign that demand has become exaggerated and that share prices are being pushed unrealistically high.

As with all major financial markets, the Dhaka stock exchange will recover from the recent crash. This may not help the vast number of investors who lost huge amounts of money when the market corrected itself. However, it serves as an example to traders in other emerging markets of what can happen when emotions rule the day rather than fundamental study and wise investment choices.

Share Business Tips – If You Want Success in Share Trading, dhaka stock exchange

Becoming a successful share trader will require lots of reading. You'll not only need to learn how to make money when the market rises, but also how to make money when the market falls. For added safety it's a good idea to learn about trading options.

Learn the fundamentals, or the financials. Learn how to read the charts and how to spot a company that is about to rise, plus how to hedge your trade in case it goes against you. How to buy to go up, but trade an option to go down, so you're covered either way.

Understand how volume changes price. Learn about other indicators, such as Bollinger bands, MACD lines, moving averages and momentum. Learn put and call options. Watch how the news can affect share prices. All this information is available through reading books, watching DVDs and CDs, the Internet, online courses and seminars.
Practice By Paper Trading

Paper trading is practice without using real money. Some companies offer virtual accounts where you can trade, but not use actual money. Join your local share market game.

There you can learn and play. It's a little like playing monopoly, only with shares. Keep a journal, so you have a record of what you've done right and wrong. Write out a plan and trade it. If your plan doesn't give you regular success, change the plan.
Trading Live

Going live brings other elements into play, like emotions - fear and greed. Once you go live, your heart rate increases. You wonder whether you've made the right choice, you start to second guess all the work you've done.

If the trade doesn't do exactly what you thought it would, fear takes hold and you sell. You sell too early and the market changes direction and now you wish you'd hung on a little longer. This is why you need a written plan. Have a plan for buying and for selling. If you don't follow your plan and the market moves up, greed starts to set in.

You hang on past your profit taking point, when you know you should sell. You think that this is great, you're making a nice profit. You hang on, even though your criteria tells you to sell. You wait another day.

The next day the market turns and you lose your profit. You think this is just a slight fall and decide to hang on for another day. The trade is now going against you and you are looking at a loss. You tell yourself you don't want to sell now, not when your loosing. The price never recovers and when the pain gets too bad, you sell.

Follow your written plan. If a trade turns against you, you'll either have an option in place to pick up the difference, or you'll get out before you lose too much money. Alternatively you can pocket your profit. You can always buy in again after you've locked in a profit.

Money Management: A lot of the time trading is about managing your money. Trade only what you can afford to loose. Take your losses when they are only small. This way you get to trade another day. Expect to make mistakes and lose money, particularly when you first start.

How much should you start trading with? You can trade shares with as little as 50000tk. The only problem with this is that it wont give you much room for diversifying. 100000tk is nice to start with. Or you can trade only options. This allows you to start with much smaller amounts.
