How to optimize affiliate content for SEO

Google is always changing its algorithm, but an update that went live in March has had a significant impact on how well sites index in Google. This update affected several of our publishers, so to help rectify that, we’ve put together this blog which contains tips to ensure you protect your SEO ranking and comply with Google’s guidelines.

Follow Google’s Guidelines

Google Webmaster Guidelines are designed to help Google find, index and rank your site. In general, Google does not approve of what it terms “deceptive” practices and will actively seek out sites that aren’t complying to penalize them. It also looks poorly on sites that are purely designed for search engines rather than users. There is no issue with using affiliate links, but they need to be used within original content, and not just featured for revenue generation purposes alone.

Refresh historic high traffic pages

If you’ve seen organic traffic drop on concrete high-performing pages it’s likely they’ve begun indexing poorly on target keywords in Google. To rectify the drop, update and improve the originality of content on them, ensuring any content you’re including provides a service to your readers.
Use SEO Tools like SEMRushMoz and Majestic to find the pages that lost positions. Study your competitors and understand which keywords they are using and which websites are sending backlinks to them. Replicating their efforts will help you recover lost ground.

Build a healthy backlink strategy and avoid toxic links

When you want to create traffic to your site, you should spread links over the web, as this helps to build domain and link authority and improves your ranking in search engines. In doing so, however, you have to be careful to balance your no-follow to follow rates and anchor text similarities when determining the value of backlinks. Avoid toxic backlinks like from link networks, spam sites and mirror pages with duplicated content. There are backlink spam tools and checkers that you can use to identify toxic backlinks and disavow them. Being rigorous about this ensures Google has no reason to alter your ranking.

Added value content

On affiliate programs, Google says you need to create content with “added value” for users, which it describes as including “additional meaningful content or features, such as information about, price, purchasing location, or product category.” Adding that information will also be helpful for readers, provide a better experience for your readers and reduce the likelihood that Google will penalize you for your affiliate efforts.
Copy and paste don't cut it anymore. You cannot expect a good ranking on Google if you don’t add something new to content. Google characterizes this as added information on price, purchase location, product category and more.
The bottom line is that if the content you’re creating provides value, you should rank well in Google. It values content that provides a service to users and features valuable original content. With a few smaller tweaks and updates to existing copy, you should be able to remedy any issues you’ve seen and begin to rank successfully in search engines again.

SEO And Internet Marketing Basics

Internet Marketing is just a really scary way of saying “Promoting Your Blog To Get More Traffic.”
When you start a new blog it’s unrealistic to expect that you’re going to become a marketing expert or that your blog will be #1 in Google with millions of hits per month. If that’s what you’re thinking, *sigh*…

What is Search Engine Optimization (SEO)?

SEO is the practice of getting your blog to rank better in the search engines. There are many types of SEO, from the words in your posts to the way other sites link back to your site, and even making sure that the search engines can find the information on your site.
Search engine companies spend a lot of time making sure that their results are relevant, useful, and accurate. What that means to you is that you need to make your blog’s content relevant, useful, and accurate.
Want a successful blog? Your goal is very simple…
Become a trusted source of high quality information for your readers.

Top 3 Ways To Market Your Blog

One of the best things that you can do to show the search engines that your blog is important is to promote yourself. That means getting your blog out there and sharing your posts with other people.

In Content SEO

In content SEO is structuring your posts and using the right words so that the post gets ranked in the search engines. The words we use and how we use them in our blog posts are critical components in our SEO strategy.

Social Media

Social media is here to stay, so if you’re not already active on social media sites, then it’s time to roll up your sleeves and get busy.

Email List Building

You may not think that having an email list is important, but it’s still the best way to share and communicate with your audience and time after time, when it comes to making money with your blog, the money is in the list.  So start building your list now.

How to Optimize Images for Your Blog

Bloggers know how critical it is to use sound SEO practices in order to charm traffic from the big search engines. But did you know that the images you use on your blog can also be a great source of search engine traffic?
Google Images is just one example of an image-based search engine. In fact, Google will happily display a row of image results for the keyword phrase entered – at the top of the first page of the search results.
In order to take advantage of this type of traffic, you will need to know how to properly optimize your images. Once you know this “hidden” secret for boosting SEO, you’ll never view images for your blog the same way again.

Alt Text

Since the search engines can’t actually see your images, it’s up to you to tell them what the photo or graphic in your blog post is. This one tip alone will put your SEO efforts ahead of the majority of bloggers out there who either don’t know, or don’t bother, with this step.
Alt text, short for alternative text, is how you can help the search engine figure out what your image is all about. Before you begin, you will want to have your keywords or keyword phrase handy.
To include alt text with your image, add: alt=”your alt text description”. In html, it will look like the following:
<img src=”shiny-red-wagon.jpg” alt=”Shiny red wagon in the driveway”>
If you are using blogging software like WordPress, adding alternative text is even simpler. When you insert an image into your blog post, click on the image then select Edit.
Under Advanced Options, you can add your alt text on the appropriate line. If you choose, you can also add a caption as well as a title tag for a little extra search engine juice.
Click on Update when you’re finished!
Now, any time someone mouses over your image, the alt text will appear.

File Size

The file sizes of the images you are using can have a massive effect on the load times of your website pages. Search engines will take this into account if your pages load slowly.
In order to maximize the speed at which your pages load, you can adjust the image file size to be as small as you possibly can without sacrificing on quality.
Any number of photo editing software programs can help you with this, including some very good free tools like Pixlr Express and PicMonkey.
If you skip this step and use your browser to resize the larger image to a smaller size, it won’t help. Visitors will still have to download the larger image before it can be resized.

File Name

Another area that is easily forgotten when it comes to image SEO is the file name. You are probably used to seeing the generic file names that your camera automatically assigns your photos and the unintelligible string of letters and numbers that stock photo websites give their images.
Before you upload your image to your blog, rename the file. You can use something descriptive and include keywords, as well.

Captions

Captions themselves will not help or harm your search engine rankings. However, they do tend to be one of the most frequently read sections of your web pages, after the headlines. Well worded captions can help hold your visitors’ interest and reduce your bounce rate.
There’s no need to spend your time perfecting your blog posts only to skip out on the opportunity to maximize your search engine traffic. At most, following these basic steps will cost you just a few minutes, but the rewards will continue long after you hit “publish.”

How to Make Money Online in 6 Easy Steps (Blogging)

This is not a one day ricing project!

A staggering $2.1 billion in affiliate marketing fees were paid to blog and website owners in 2008. This finding in a recent study by Jupiter Research confirms what many savvy Internet marketers have known for a while: Affiliate marketing has become one of the top business opportunities online because the startup costs are so low and the income you generate can be mind-blowing.
Affiliate marketing involves having your own site and sending your traffic to someone else's site to buy their products or services. For every sale initiated by a link from your site, you earn a percentage--an affiliate sales commission.
Affiliate marketing can be done on a part-time basis, and many are so successful that they've made it their full-time job. Equally exciting, you can get in the game in just a few hours. But how successful you are is based on the amount of time and effort you devote. Here is how you can make money online with these six tips:

1. Create a website or blog

To start as an affiliate marketer, you must have a site on which to place links to the products or services you recommend. There are many inexpensive website services such as Hostgator and GoDaddy. It's also easy to set up a free blog through services such as Google's Blogger blog network. I also use Namecheap for domains and Hostnine (get a reseller account) for hosting.

2. Decide your product/service niche

Affiliate marketers help companies and entrepreneurs sell everything from jewelry and cell phones to website services and how-to e-books. Choose an area you're familiar with or one you're enthusiastic about learning. You'll be more likely to do the work and less likely to get bored before the money starts rolling in.

3. Find products and services to promote

Many affiliate networks exist to connect merchants with affiliate site publishers who can help sell their goods. Companies such as:
  • Clickbank, E-junkie and PayDotCom lead the pack in connecting the creators of e-books and software with affiliates to help sell their digital download products.
  • Commission Junction is popular for those who want to sell more traditional wares ranging from travel services to janitorial franchises.
  • Google AdSense, which doesn't require your involvement to result in a sale. Your income is realized on a pay-per-click basis, just for leading your traffic to click to a merchant's site. PPC affiliate programs pay a lot less than programs where your referral must result in a sale. Keep in mind that a site peppered with ads and no authority or trust can look and feel like spam, and you won't get good results.

4. Affiliate site content

There are two main approaches or business models to choose from when setting up an affiliate marketing site:
  • Resource Sites These sites are focused on offering lots of how-to articles and posts, and then provide affiliate links or banner ads to click for more details. Frequently adding fresh related content is vital because it gives people a reason to return to your site--and click some of your money-making links.
  • Review Sites You've tried the products in your niche, now you write them up and rate them to help your site visitors decide what to buy. For each product you review, you provide a link or banner ad that clicks through for sales on your merchant partner's site. Less frequent content updates are necessary--just tweak your site about once a week to let the search engines know your site's still alive, and always try to build links.

5. Affiliate sites must attract lots of targeted traffic to succeed

Most people visiting your website or blog won't click your affiliate links. That's why it's crucial to employ a mix of marketing tactics to increase traffic--highly targeted traffic--to your site.
There are four main ways to get more site exposure and attract more potential customers:
  • Paid Advertising This is most effective when your ad copy headline, call-to-action message and graphics come together just right to compel people to click through and buy.
  • Free Advertising Sites like Craigslist and US Free Ads are but two of many popular places that accept links and banner ads for free. These tend to be affiliate marketing sites themselves, earning the owner money whenever you click their ads.
  • Article Marketing This popular marketing method offers several benefits. You're building credibility as a reliable source in your niche, gaining a higher search engine ranking by increasing the number of links leading to your site, and pulling traffic to your site. Work in an organic manner and don't spam using software engines. Ezinearticles is a great place to begin.
  • E-mail Marketing Every visitor to your site is valuable, so capturing their names and e-mail addresses to stay in touch is important. Many people might not buy your affiliate products until the third or fourth time they hear from you. So it's crucial to place an opt-in subscription box on your site for people to start receiving a weekly or monthly newsletter from you. My personal favorite is aweber, but many quality ones exist.

6. Learn the ropes in forums

These are online communities of likeminded people who exchange insights and ideas. Join at least one of these free affiliate marketing forums to benefit from advice shared by other newbies, intermediates and gurus alike:
  • Digital Point Huge, with about 25,000 active members. An excellent place to learn affiliate marketing tips, plus other techniques that impact your success such as link building and SEO.
  • aBestWeb One of the largest affiliate marketing forums, with nearly 100 sub-forums. Covers the broadest range of affiliate marketing-specific subjects, with heavy participation by numerous go-getter merchants and serious affiliates.
  • Warrior Forum A killer networking forum for beginners and advanced alike. Set up a profile, start participating, ask questions and promote as well.
To do well, read all you can about the opinions, tool and strategies of both experts and peers. But before you even start, choose a niche about which you're passionate. The more you truly enjoy what you're immersed in, the more likely you are to transform your affiliate marketing and money-making venture into a huge success.

Top 20 ways to boost your website traffic.
1. Submit your website to Search Engines
The very first thing is to Submit your website url to all top search engines i.e. Google, Yahoo, Bing, Ask etc. Search Engine Submission means, that you are telling or permitting the search engines to crawl your website and get it listed on their search service, resulting in some instant quality traffic. In order to submit your website to 70+ search engines FREE use following url:
http://www.submitexpress.com/free-submission.html

2. Directory Submissions
You must submit your site to all major directories. DMOZ which is (was once was the most important directory). But however the trends have changed, and DMOZ has lost its value to some extent, because especially Engines like Google no more require DMOZ to list a website in order to get it listed, like it once was. But still, directory submission could be very helpful in getting some little PR. To submit your website to few major directories on the web go to: http://freewebsubmission.com/

3. Submit Articles
I believe that Article submission plays a very very important part in getting good quality traffic plus gets your good Link Value in terms of SEO (search engine optimization). Some of popular article directories are Ezine, Article Base or Go Articles which can instantly boost in your website traffic, with good SEO impact. What you need to do is Write a detailed article of 350-500 words describing your website blog or its services, and at the end give in your website url. This way when search spiders reads your posts it transfers High value to your links resulting in better SEO and better chance to get listed higher on google.

4. Submit your Sitemap to Search Engines
Submission of  sitemaps search engines like Google,  Yahoo, or Bing is a very important part, to get your website listed as quickly as possible and as well as in complete details. When you submit your sitemap to a search engine, which than quickly crawls through all pages of your website and list them all. (if you don't do this than possibly search engines will miss out some very important pages of your website.

5. Ping Sites
To get your website listed quickly in search engines, service known as PING SERVICES can also help your website get listed more quickly. Pinging actually tells the search engines that you have updated your website content.
Search engines like Google and Yahoo, Bing always like and prefer the freshly updated content. So all you need to do is Ping your website using once of following popular ping services: Ping.o. Matic Technorati Ping, Pingoat Ping, Feed Ping, King Ping, Blog Flux Pinger etc.

6. Yahoo Answer
Yahoo answers has become basic Asking place for most of newbies and new internet users. Those people who are looking for some thing they dont know mostly ask their questions on Yahoo Answer service website. (go to: answers.yahoo.com) .  So keep checking this website regularly and look for people who are looking for such useful stuff, and possibly you can share your own website links to answer them what they need.

7. Review your own website/blog
You can write some reviews about your own website, describing about it services and features and offerings. Write in detailed reviews based on merits and post these on reviews on other websites or blogs (maybe you can pay another webmaster) or ask them to do a review exchange. This way you will surely get higher Search Engine value, plus high website reputation in front of your visitors.

8. Google Reader
Google reader is a fast RSS Search Engine Submission service provided by google, which can help your website to get listed fast using your website RSS url. If you have a RSS feed link, than you must submit that using Google Reader service (www.google.com/reader)

9. Email Signatures
Lol! this might seem a bit too childish but believe me these small things can actually help you a lot in the long tun. But setting up your Email signature containing your website URL can get at-least some of valuable traffic where your friends of colleagues will probably remember your website url.

10. Blog Commenting
Commenting on blogs can earn you some good valuable baclinks (start from here, do comment in my blog), which will bring both Direct Traffic and Search Traffic to your website. Just keep track of top and popular blogs, and prefer to post  your own website URL in comments section (which is Free). But remember not to SPAM and do bogus publicity or you can get banned from that website. All you need to make sure is to only post your url when a someone is looking for information which your website already has. This way you can get targeted traffic and good search value. Go to (LondonClicks to get some backlinks)

11. Forum Signature
Mostly the online discussion forums hold a high PR value of which you can take full advantage by adding up your link url as your forum signature. Lets suppose you run a “Cars Review Website or blog”, now all you need to look for a popular CAR/Auto vehical related Discussion forum website, and join in as a member.  Once you have done this, now setup your Forum Signature containing your own website URL. This gives you many back links, which can divert good traffic as well as search value.

12. Create Groups
All search engines inlcuding Google, Yahoo or Bing have their own group services (just like Google Buzz) where you can setup a Group of people with similar mind set. (.e.g all Gadget interested people considering you have a Gadget selling/reviewing website).  Now, make a group and share all your related stuff maintaining your own social circle.

13. Buy Links or Traffic
Considering you have little money to invest, this could help a lot in buying some good Link Backs from Quality PR5+ websites which could result in High Google Page Rank of your own website, and also get you good traffic directly from a website. BUT Make sure that you should buy Targetted traffic which is the most important thing. If you have a Cars/Auto related website, than you should get a backlink from a car/auto related website itself, otherwise it wont be of any good use.

14. Link Exchange
Dont have money to invest to buy traffic ? Than probably Link exchange is more viable solution for you. All you need is to contact other webmasters (maybe friend webmasters) or you can contact any webmaster through their website contact form (but keep it mind, only those websites with Link exchange with you which will have Same traffic as of yours). Because big websites will not link exchange with a small traffic website, obviously. So keep this is mind, but link exchanges with small websites can make a small website get big traffic at some point.

15. Traffic Exchange Programs
Do you know that you can get some traffic for free from Traffic Exchange programs, which are completely free. Today there are a lot of websites with huge traffic mainly sourced from Traffic exchange website such as: MGID. Yes join MGID, put their Photo WIDGET on your website. Now when a visitor on your website clicks on their Widget, in return you will get 2 visitors back to your website from theirs. For more details goto: http://usr.mgid.com/demo/

16. PPC Advertising Program
Pay per click advertising can be very very usefull in getting targetted traffic to your website, but on other hand can be very costly for those who have limited advertising budget. However i have seen and heard of success stories from people who did advertised on Facebook through there PPC advertising program, and got quality traffic in return.

17. Social Bookmarking
Social bookmarking can get you quick backlinks. Social bookmarking sites like Digg, Twitter, Reddit and Stumble will help you get many quick backlinks. Try this as well.

18. Squidoo and HubPages
These high PR web 2.0 websites can do a lot to increase the traffic of website or blogs. You simply need to go to Squidoo or Hubpages, signup for an account, and write in a 500 words article containing 1 or 2 back links in those articles back to your Main website. This way you can get some traffic as well as search PR.

19. Press Releases Submission / Distribution
Get your website promoted by Press Release distribution networks such as prweb.com (though this is not free) but will get you huge exposure throughout the world even through Print media.

20. Free or Paid Classified
Advertise your website or product through Free classified websites or paid ones. Google this out for more details…

My reason to write this article was to just throw in a simple reminder of any points or ways which i could remember could help you get some traffic. Unfortunately i do not have enough time to throw in deep details all these 20 ways to boost website traffic,  but all i did was quick details to be pointed out, so that anything might click your mind and remind you something important which you could have missed otherwise.

10 Essential Tips For Long Term Blogging Career

Blogging is something you should do as a hobby as oppose to a career, until you are fully dedicated to it and have guts &  knowledge to do something extraordinary through your blog, blogging takes time to start making you money so if you are doing it for quick money then I’ll suggest you to do freelancing instead.
There are 100s of rules you should follow to become a successful blogger but I have listed the Top 10 of them, and if you ignore any of them then you are going to fail, so do it and do it right.

#1. Plan your blog posts

#1 Plan your blog posts
This means that you should create an outline (at least) for your blog posts. You should do this so that your blog structure remains consistent throughout your blog, and so that you cover all of the points you were planning on covering. You will also find that it makes writing your blog posts easier, quicker and helps to a create more balanced writing style.

#2. Do not post on all your favorite topics right away

#2 favorite topics
This is a common “newbie” mistake. They will come into blogging full of ideas and topics that they want to write about, and they will use up all of their best stuff within the first few months. After that they will be scratching around for ideas and will probably get bored. Your best bet is to space out your topics and write larger and more in-depth articles on your topics. You then break them up, create new introductions for each and post them as separate blog posts.

#3. Keep it up and do not quit

#3. Keep it up and do not quit
Most blogs start with a big flurry of enthusiasm and then within six months the blogger has given up or only blogs once per month. Most blogs do not make it to the two year mark, which is the reason why so many of the blogs you see these days do not have hundreds and hundreds of blog posts on them (unless they allow guest blog posting). So, the first piece of advice you should take is to keep it up, and make a vow to yourself that you are not going to quit after a few weeks.

#4. You only need to post once per week

#4 post once per week
A lot of people start out and they have lots of topics they want to cover. So they will post twice per week, or three times per week if they are over enthusiastic. But, this is a frequency that is difficult to keep up. If you do decide to keep it up then you are going to struggle to create high quality content. And, if you do not keep it up then what was the point of making frequent posts during the early months? The best frequency is once per week, as most people expect that anyway.

#5. Learn that loyal viewers make up most of your traffic

#5 loyal viewers
New bloggers and moronic web marketers think that blogging traffic is made up of new viewers, but it is not. New viewers are not as abundant as you think. It is loyal viewers that come back every week that make up most of your blog traffic. You must tend to them instead of constantly trying to chase new viewers.

#6. Install an RSS feed into your blog

#6 add rss feed
This is a vital tool if you want to retain your loyal viewers. They remind people that your blog still exists, they tell people when your blog is posted and they give people a link to your blog. It is the perfect tool for retaining your blog readers.

#7. Plan the blog posts of the next 3 months

#7 3 months future
This strategy will help you to avoid the occasional bout of writers block. Writers block occurs as a sort of biological process. There will come days when you simply cannot think of anything to write. If this happens on the week that you are supposed to write your blog post then you are going to be in trouble. If you have already planned the topics and created a bit of an outline for the next three months, then you will have to suffer three months of writers block before you have any trouble.

#8. Use a scheduling tool to post your blog posts

#8 post schedule
This is common sense because it means that your blog posts will be issued at the same time every week, and it means that you do not have to manually upload your posts when the time comes. It also allows you to get a few weeks ahead of yourself for just in case you cannot write for a few weeks or if you want to take a break from blogging.

#9. Have the scheduling tool update your RSS feed too

Again, this is going to save you the trouble of doing it yourself, which will mean that this very important job is not forgotten. Do not write too much on your RSS feed page. A single sentence describing your blog post is enough, as you do not want to scare off your reader before he or she has even seen the blog post.
And if you are using WordPress as your blogging platform then you can be worry free as WordPress updates the RSS automatically everytime you publish a new article on your blog.

#10. Build relationship with niche bloggers

This is very important that you are in touch with the other bloggers via social media or email (if possible), for that you can start with sharing your views with them about their blog, can give ideas for their blog, write guest posts regularly on their blogs.
So, finally if you follow all the above tips carefully throughout your blogging then no one can stop you from becoming a successful blogger, and making lots of money through blogging too.

Tips to increase your website search traffic in 2015 and beyond

increase your website search traffic

Google loves WordPress sites

Always prefer WordPress over Blogger or any other blogging platform.
Why WordPress Is Better than Blogger?
Most bloggers ask me this question – which blogging platform should I go for? WordPress or Blogger? I certainly recommend them all to use “WordPress” content management system. Not only because I used both WordPress and blogger platforms, but I know why WordPress is way better than the Blogger platform.
So why is WordPress better than Blogger platform?
There are millions of bloggers who use WordPress as their blogging platforms, the percentage of people who use WordPress is more than that of any other blogging platform. WordPress certainly has few great assets than other blogging platforms, in this article we are discussing few surefire reasons why you need to prefer WordPress over blogger.
FIVE reasons why WordPress is better than Blogger
1. More power to you
In blogger platform, you don’t have much control over your sites, it means you have all the risk while monetizing and maintaining your sites. Whereas in WordPress, you have all the control over your sites, you are your own boss. No one has the ability to stop your blogging efforts, because you own your own domain name and hosting.
2. Professional look
Agree with me or not, WordPress blog designs look way better than that of blogger platform.
You will be able to use thousands of themes which are ranging from free to premium. The good thing about WordPress themes is even free themes look amazingly great. There are thousands of free (good looking) themes in the WordPress themes directory.
You can also use search engine friendly themes like Thesis, Genesis to enhance your rankings in the search engine results.
3. More control over SEO
Blogger platform doesn’t have great SEO options by default. And you can’t take your SEO campaign to the next level using blogger platform.WordPress platform is well-known for its search engine optimization to rank high in the search results.
Moreover, you can always take charge of your SEO rankings by using premium search engine friendly themes like Genesis or by using top class SEO plugins like easy WP SEO, long tail pro etc.
So by using WordPress you will definitely rank better than the bloggers who are using blogger platform with these functionalities.
4. Easy to customize, update and maintain
WordPress blogs are easy to customize, even if you are not a tech savvy you won’t find it hard to customize your own blog design or whatever it is. Frequently WordPress updates its versions and thus you will get rid of all security threats or minor defects time to time. By just one click you can update your WP versions, there’s no blogging platform that’s so easy to update like this.
5. Free blog hosting = so many problems (in blogger)
The worst part about blogger platform is this: you never know when Google will suspend site.
The people who use blogger platform risk having their account suspended for breaching Google’s TOS – this happened to many blogger platform users till date. Another big risk by using blogger is: if you want to sell your site, it’s hard! Because you got a free hosting, it means you have NO control over your sites, you have to spend a lot of time in managing your stuff to sell to others.
All these problems can be overcome by WordPress. If you don’t have any more interest in blogging, it takes few minutes to sell your WP blogs. It’s that easy! And I said earlier in this post, you have all the control over your sites and blogs, no one will ask you for violating terms!

Rock Your Blog With These Essential WordPress Plugins

Have you ever wanted to rock your WordPress blogs with few plugins?
One of the best things about WordPress is that you can use a wide range of plugins to take your blog to the next level. Again it depends on how many plugins you use and what plugins you use to take charge of your blog.
After all, the less plugins you have the more site speed you can acquire, so here are few plugins to increase your website traffic in 2015.
1. Digg Digg: There’s a reason why I’m placing this plugin no.1 in the list. Social media sites are becoming popular, to bring more traffic you must use social media sites to the most. If you give your readers easy to share your posts on social media, the chances of getting more shares on your posts will be huge. This plugin lets you place the sharing buttons in most prominent places on your sidebar to get more shares and visibility.
2. W3 total cache: If you want to clear all the caches on your blogs to make it loading faster, this plugin is for you. It improves the user experience of your site by increasing server performance, reducing the download times and providing transparent content delivery network (CDN) integration.
3. SEO by yoast: SEO is the key to making any successful blog, without search engine optimizing, you won’t get long lasting traffic to your sites. SEO by yoast is the premium plugin which does all the things for you to get an avalanche traffic from search engines, and it’s absolutely for free (it has all the features of a premium plugin, it’s why I’m calling it as a premium plugin).
4. Akismet: No one likes to get spam on their blog comment section. Not only spam will create more burden on your database (which makes your site loading time slower), but you will also give a bad user experience. Akismet is used by almost every blogger (yea, it’s one of the most used WP plugins in the blogosphere). It will control the spam comments to give the better user experience to your blog readers. Using GASP plugin along with Akismet can 99% reduce spam on your blogs.
5. Contact form 7: If you want a great looking contact form, this plugin is the right choice for you. Not only this plugin enables powerful security options, but it also looks easy to use.
6. nRelate thumbnails: The most effective way to boost your page views is to display your related posts or links at the bottom of your posts. This plugin serves you the best to display them using images to get more clicks on your old posts.
7. Google XML sitemap: A must have WP plugin for WP users. Creating and submitting a Sitemap helps make sure that Google knows about all the pages on your site, including URLs that may not be discoverable by Google’s normal crawling process.

Write keyword rich contents no matter what

Search engine optimization is the key to building a profitable blog. Without search engine traffic, your blog won’t last long. To make your prospects buying and to generate more leads, it’s a MUST to bring organic traffic.
Luckily, the WordPress users have a great edge with SEO because there are so many great WordPress SEO plugins available, and most of them are free.
Post consistently: If you want to become a top blogger in your niche, post consistently. I don’t mean that you need to post daily to succeed, but you have to be CONSISTENT with your blog posting frequency. Who will like to read your blog if you update blog posts inconsistently? The best way to know your blog posting frequency is by “testing”.
Testing is the key to know the perfect blog post frequency on your blogs, know what works and what’s not. Take the help from your readers and other bloggers if you need. Use online survey tools like Survey monkey or use your email list to ask your readers “when to update”. This way you will have a better idea on what to write and when to update on your blogs.
Write unique points: Get them talking about your blog posts. But how? Always write engaging content that solves your readers problems and give genuine value to your targeted readers. No one will like to read your blog if you post “generic contents”. Write unique posts that will create great impact on your blog readers in the long run. Take some time to research the topics that you are writing about and deliver the ‘best’ information to your readers. Create your own writing style to stand out from the crowd.

Give importance to readers and search engines

Readers and search engines both are important. You simply can’t ignore both of them, readers will give your blog immense support to buy your products and search engines can bring you more readers in the long run for the potential keywords.
Know your targeted keywords before writing a blog post, write for the readers first, then optimize the contents for the search engines. I don’t suggest anyone to use “keyword stuffing”, instead use long tail keywords to generate quality traffic from the search engines.
You will definitely have more impact on search engines when you use long tail keywords like “blog tips for new bloggers”, instead of using just “blog tips”. Then build quality back links to your sites either by guest blogging or by writing link baiting posts which will naturally attract other bloggers to link to your posts. This way you can bring great traffic from the search engines in the long run, remember that, search traffic takes time to reach your blog. You simply can’t expect organic traffic flowing through your blog posts within 2 days.
Use social media sites to boost your presence: By now, you should know the importance of social media sites like Facebook, twitter, Google+ etc. They are great resources if you want to quickly build a brand around your blogs. You should be dedicated enough to engage with other bloggers and influential bloggers in your niche using social media sites.
Always share the best stuff around your network to grab other bloggers attention to click on your links. No one will care to read your stuff if you post generic contents, make sure you are spending enough time to read and write the best contents to solve your readers’ problems.

Guest blogging is a weapon – use it wisely

If you want to succeed in blogging, you need to get more online visibility no matter what. The best way to get more visibility in no time is this, guest post on other blogs which are better than yours!
Guest blogging is going viral in blogosphere. Everyone is talking about guest blogging and more bloggers are entering into guest blogging to get more attention.Guest blogging will be fun and useful if you know how NOT to pitch your guest posts. In this article, we will discuss how not to write a guest post. You will better understand about your targeted readers if you once analyze your targeted blog posts.
Guest blogging will not only give you links, visibility and traffic, but you can also create great relationships with other bloggers which will be helpful for your blog’s success in the long run. Try to create targeted guest posts to grab more readers attention to reach your blog posts. Make it easy for them to subscribe and become your subscribers.
So what are your thoughts on this massive post increase website traffic? Do you have any more tips to increase organic traffic to your websites, please share them in the comments.

Feeding Search Engines To Rise in Rankings

Search Engine Optimization or SEO. While many businesses may have an idea of what it is, they may not understand how it works or, at least, how to make the most of it for their business. Every business wants to get to the 'top spot' in search engines like Google, Bing, Yahoo, etc. but to do that you have to first understand how SEO works.

Understanding Search Engines

Understanding how search engines work is critical when trying to improve the search ranking of businesses. Without this understanding it is primarily a guessing game and businesses need their SEO strategy to be based on knowledge, not a guess.
Crawling: To begin the process, search engines do what is referred to as Crawling, which does just what it sounds like - it crawls across all the information on the Internet and locates new or updated sites and information. Using Google as an example, they have an enormous set of computers that handles the search portion of their function which is called the Googlebot. By using those infamous Google algorithms, Googlebot "crawls" through all of the data across all of the Internet looking for sites, data and information that was not there previously.
Indexing: When Googlebot compiles all the new words, sites and information that it found during its "crawl", along with the pages where that information was found, it is called Indexing. It is during indexing that things like title tags are processed and compiled as well.
Serving Results: When someone goes onto Google, or any search engine for that matter, and enters keywords to conduct a search, the search engine will then locate all the pages that have the words that were entered into the search and pull out the pages and/or sites that are the most relevant to those keywords. The more relevant the page content is to the words in the search, the higher up in the results that page will be displayed, otherwise known as page ranking. This function also uses the predetermined algorithms as a part of its final determinations.
Now that you understand a little more about how a search engine crawls a business website, it is time to start working on creating a website that will appeal to the search engines.
When you take into consideration the mass of information that search engines are sifting through across the Internet it should make you realize even more why an effective search engine optimization (SEO) strategy and content strategy are so important.

What To Include In The SEO Strategy

  • Keyword Research - using words from the business's niche market as well as for the industry and target audience
  • Content that is optimized, client-focused and helpful, not just marketing-based
  • Optimized pages and posts

Start With Keyword Research

This is where strategy should begin. Find out what keywords customers and potential customers are going to input when they are looking for a business's product or service. Thankfully there are a number of things that can assist with this.

Online Keyword Research Tools

Social Media - see what people are talking about on social media about the business's niche.
The customer service and sales staff - they are on the front lines of any business and have the most direct interaction with customers. They can provide the questions customers are asking or items they are most looking for.
Customers - while the sales and customer service staff interact with customers daily, make a direct connection with them as well to find out their needs or any problems a business's product or service can solve.

Create Content That Readers Can Trust (And Feeds The Search Engines)

People go to businesses they can trust and that can help them. One way to create trust is by becoming a thought leader in the industry through creating content that is relevant to the reader and something they would actually search for on Google (Ex: How to SEO a blog post).

Content Ideas

  • Blogging on "how to" topics
  • Creating FAQs pages/posts
  • Resource pages for specific geographic areas
You'll want to make sure to use keywords within the content which should already be part of a business's local SEO strategy. Be sure to check any old posts on the site and ensure they have been optimized and, if not, change them.
To keep website visitors on the site, each page or post should also include at least one link to another page within your site to keep them moving throughout.
In addition to creating SEO focused content, it is also necessary to optimize title tags, image names and image descriptions. Even though these are not visible to website visitors, this information is important to search engines as the information is indexed as they crawl the site.
I realize that this seems like a lot to do, but remember, the search engines are crawling every piece of information on the Internet and a business needs to be optimized to stay relevant in search results.
The SEO strategies outlined here, when implemented, will increase site optimization, attract more visitors, and keep those visitors on a site longer. All of which is what is needed to move the rankings higher on search results.

Why Every Business SHOULD Be Marketing On Linkedin

With over 390 Million members, and an average income of $120000 American, Linkedin has a ton of lead potential that is sorely underutilized. Linkedin has become the social network for businesses and job hunting, for the fact that it is designed and focused on connecting people to getting hired or doing business, rather than a hod podge of information being shared, like on Facebook, Twitter, and other social networks.

Did you know much of the Fortune 500 and their senior leadership are Linkedin users? Every second, 13 new users sign up for an account. On Facebook, statistics say only about 1% of their users who engage a brand make a purchase as per this study. How much higher could the buying power be of a much more affluent market? This post will list the ways Linkedin can help your business increase leads, sales, and build the power of your brand.
Here are the reasons why every business SHOULD be marketing on Linkedin.

Why Every Business SHOULD Be Marketing On Linkedin

1. Lead Generation Opportunities

To generate leads on Linkedin, the best tactics involve a keyword rich profile within your niche, as well as actively prospecting or outsourcing prospecting of members of your network. These members of your network that you want to find, are ones that could potentially be interested in your product or service. The key is to be conversational and not jump immediately into your offering.

2. Increased Sales

These will result from your lead generation efforts, as well as activity in Linkedin groups when you put yourself out there. Like most social media marketing on other social networks, it increases your positioning as an authority on Linkedin.

3. More Business Partnerships

Increased accessibility and positioning will likely lead to more opportunities. These opportunities could be affiliate marketing, collaborations, or to being hired for work.

4. Increased Brand Awareness

Aside from being able to create a robust profile, Linkedin has many business oriented groups. In participating in a group on Linkedin, you get increased brand exposure from being active about curating and sharing content on Linkedin.
A common question I get is: How do these actions lead to more leads, sales, and a stronger brand? The answer is: It depends. You can use your Linkedin company profile as a place to refer people, and send them to your website, or you can directly engage prospects from your profile directly.
As you can see there are numerous benefits to using your Linkedin account as part of your digital marketing mix, and not just another social account.

How To Use Google Keyword Planner Tool For Keyword Research

Keyword research is one topic, which every blogger should learn from day one. Probably, every Blogging or SEO blog you have read till now, I’m sure Google Keyword planner (previously Keyword Tool) and “Keyword research” are not a new term for you.  But if not, you are missing out the basic of any Blog SEO.

Blogging has evolved from just quality content to SEO optimized social content. Writing quality content is must, but at the same time it’s good to have the properly optimized article to rank well in search engines. This is where, on page SEO comes into the picture. On the page, SEO starts with selecting the right keyword for your post, and the keyword should be one which have search volume. That means people are searching for that particular keyword.

Here is one question you should ask yourself: Even though I’m writing quality content, why I’m unable to drive enough traffic from search engine? Well, I’m sure Google doesn’t have anything against you until unless you are doing Black Hat SEO. The reason is, you are not writing on topics that people are searching for. Or even you are writing on a topic that is trending, but you making it hard for search engine bots to understand your content. I have already  covered how to write SEO optimized articles in WordPress, and today you will learn how to use Keyword planner tool for researching Keyword.
To start with; if you are not sure, why Keyword search before writing a blog post, you should read my post on Importance of Keyword in SEO.

What is Keyword research?

Lets get to know the basics first. In layman language, Keyword research is the process of identifying Keywords, which get the good amount of search volume/month. For example, Keyword: “KeywordSpy”, “Website SEO optimization tip” and so on.  The idea behind performing a research is to, find the keywords that can give maximum traffic and comes with less competition. I will discuss competition part later in this post. For example: When you do an exact match search:  “WordPress SEO plugins”, “Best WordPress Plugins for SEO ” both gives the entirely different picture in terms of traffic.
keyword traffic difference
By doing a complete Keyword search, you will be able to find keywords to drive targeted traffic, more revenue and more niche traffic. More over, when you are planning to target a small niche, for example “Bug Spray”, doing a Keyword search will help you to find many new Keywords that you might be missing out. You can also analyze competitor site and find keywords which they were ranking for. Doing a comprehensive Keyword research based on the data, can drive immense traffic to your site.  And by the end, the sale happens only when you are getting targeted traffic. Isn’t it?

What is Google Keyword Planner tool:

Google Keyword tool is an official product from Google, which gives us a traffic estimation of our target Keywords and also help in finding more relevant and related Keywords for your niche. Few Important things to know:
  • You need to have a Google Adwords account to use Google Keyword planner tool. It’s free, and you don’t need to spend any money to use this tool. You can simply create an Adwords tool and start using it.
  • You can also search for existing Google Adwords coupons to create one free account for yourself, and start using Keyword planner tool.
  • This tool is created to target Adwords advertisers, but it still give a great deal of information when it comes to finding the right keyword for your blog and articles.
This is what the homepage of Keyword planner tool looks like. All you need to do is enter your target Keyword that you want to start searching for. After that, you can add filters such as for which country you want to target your keywords (In below example, All location is selected).

Using Keyword planner tool
1) Enter your product or services:
This is the place where you will put your target Keywords. For example, my next post in on Keyword research, and I’m not sure what keyword I should be targeting that post for, I will do some searches based on my knowledge like you see in example, and it shows me results globally and local search.  The idea here is to find a Keyword that has good traffic but low competition. If you are working on a blog for the long-term goal, you can also target high competition Keyword, using resource pages. For ex: WordPress guide. It makes take time before you see your keyword ranking at the good position. Below image illustrates the difference between Broad search, Exact search and phrase search.
Broad Match Traffic
2) Search type:
This is one important column that you should be taking care of. There are three options for search type:
  • Broad
  • Exact
  • Phrase
Exact Match: Exact searches, shows the traffic for exact match Keyword. For example, if you search for WordPress SEO in exact match, it will be different from broad search in great way. My suggestion, prefer Exact search when you are doing research for your micro-niche site and broad search when you are writing on the personal blog. Ex: Keyword Research Broad Match: Broad Match is my favorite, as it let me target long-tail keyword, and your traffic is not limited to exact match words. For Bloggers, broad match is useful but that again depends upon your blog type and target. Ex: “Keyword-based researchPhrase: Phrase type is useful when you need Keyword in an exact phrase. For example: “Best Keyword Research”. Keyword position won’t be changing, but it gives the data for traffic, that your Keyword might be getting for phrase search.
3) Advanced option and filter:
This feature is set to add more filters into your search. For example Country search volume, Language and target device (Computer or mobile devices). Depending upon your target audience, you can set everything including the category.
4) Understand Keyword tool column:
Notice the pointer 4 in the above image and now, understand the meaning of each column.
  • Competition: Just to clear one myth about this tool, competition field doesn’t show how hard and easy it’s to rank for that Keyword. In fact, it shows the competition among advertisers bidding on that keyword. So, if you see “low” for a great keyword, mark it and later we will see how we can easily analyze the competition.
  • Global monthly search : Global monthly search shows the average of search happened in last 12 months globally.
  • Local monthly search : It shows the search volume based on your filter. For example, in above image I have applied filter for U.S as country and notice the huge difference between global and local search volume.
  • Approximate CPC : This column shows approx. CPC (Cost per click), for an advertiser. Many SEO guru’s recommend to use this column to find Adsense CPC Keywords It’s a good idea to pick high CPC keywords, where advertisers are bidding more but with low competition.
For this tutorial, lets keep it simple and lets keep our example for broad search type.

Performing Keyword research using Google Keyword tool:

I hope this must have given you a basic understanding of Keyword tool by Google works and now, we will move to real deal here. Our target is to find some low competitive but high-medium traffic Keyword using Google search, Google Keyword research tool and Traffic Travis. We will be using Traffic Travis to analyze the competition and if you are new to it, read Traffic Travis review. Now, when you start with Keyword research, here is a quick question: What is better? Getting 100 un-targeted visitors or 10 targeted one? If your answer is “Targeted”, then don’t leave those Keyword with low traffic. Since it’s relevant to your niche, in long run it will help you. Make sure to check “Google traffic trend” too, which will help you to check your target keyword traffic pattern over the time.
Discover Keyword using Google Instant search:
Google instant search is my first basis of finding a perfect Keyword. It’s more like a Keyword discovery tool, which you can use to generate tons of ideas. Though, you can’t actually use all of them, but for initial step it’s good to brain storm some ideas for K/w research. Put any Keyword related to your niche, for example, I started typing “SEO Keywo” and Google instant search suggested search results. Depending upon your post type, you can pick couple of them which make sense to you. Look at this screenshot: Google Instant search Keyword suggestion Once you have found 3-4 such Keywords, start adding it to Google Keyword suggestion tool and perform a search. So I  picked two keywords from the list: “SEO Keyword Search” & “SEO keyword research” as both are similar and make sense for my niche, and I can come up with a post on that. Now next step is to find if these two Keywords are going to do any benefit in terms of traffic, or just going to be another article with not much value from traffic POV. Lets move on to next step:
Keyword search analysis:
Now, I will put both the Key words in search tool and perform a search, it will give me details for search type I’m performing and also show relevant Keyword ideas. Now, that is keyword goldmine for you, as it will let you find many relevant Keywords that you can target in same post or else can come up with a follow-up posts.
Keyword ideas from Keyword planner tool
I usually target 2-3 Keywords/post. You can create your own SEO strategy depending upon your post quality and length. So, for the information sake, we have selected only Two keywords as shown in above picture and it’s time to check, which one of them is less competitive. Before that, you can change your filter to see if your target Keyword has any exact match type or not.

Checking Keyword competition using Traffic Travis:

There are many Keyword competition checker tool and some of them which I usually use are SEOmoz Pro and Traffic Travis. T.T being a desktop solution is easier to use. Open Traffic Travis and go to SEO > Competition tab and enter both your Keywords and perform a search. You will see a result like this:
Keyword Difficulty check
As you can see here, according to competition checker tool, “SEO keyword search” is easier to rank. These tools, consider many factors that includes domain age, backlinks, on Page SEO, page rank, DMOZ submissions and many more factors. You can also click on “view details” to see more detailed results for your competitor. Here is a detailed competition report for my target Keyword : (For first top 10 results)
Keyword Competition details As you can see, from the result on how important it is to have Keywords in your Title, description and H1 tag. Along with above mentioned points, backlink and social media promotion is one major factor for better ranking. Also, my suggestion book your domain for longer time-period, like 2-3 years.
What next?
So now, we have one keyword with us, and similarly you can find many keywords related to your niche. It might be the little time-consuming but it’s worth more than spending un-targeted ten posts. Now, your next target should be writing a Keyword optimize article (SEO copy-writing), and you can refer to our earlier guide on OnPage optimization.
Never forget, this Keyword research is just a primary steps, and real magic starts with your content. Moreover, never try to get traffic on the wrong keyword, as it will affect your overall blog performance in terms of Avg. Time on site and bounce rate. For your old blog articles, if you have not optimized them for any Keyword, you can use Google analytic data, any software for
For your old blog articles, if you have not optimized them for any Keyword, you can use Google analytic data, any software for Keyword research and work on re-optimization for Keyword. I did this for almost 30% of my old posts, and they started ranking in 1-2 page in ranking.

What Makes A Backlink A High Quality Backlink?

Getting backlinks – links from other websites to your business’s website – is the most effective way to improve your rankings. Not all backlinks are equal though. Some backlinks won’t improve your rankings at all, and some might even have a negative effect. Therefore, your focus should be on acquiring high quality backlinks.

What makes a backlink high quality is subjective, and every SEO consultant will have at least a slightly differing opinion on the topic, however, most would agree that a good quality backlink would be comprised of several of the factors listed below, and that a backlink that ticks all of these boxes would be the perfect backlink.

It would be unrealistic to expect all of your backlinks to be perfect, and just because a backlink doesn’t meet all of these criteria it doesn’t make it low quality. If you can get a backlink to your business’s website that ticks at least a few of these boxes then it’s definitely worth having in your site’s link profile.
From a relevant source

Search engines want to provide relevance in their search results, and so it’s logical that relevance is a consideration when they evaluate backlinks, which are the primary factor affecting where sites rank in their results. A backlink can be relevant on different levels. Search engines consider the overall relevance of the linking site, the relevance of the specific page with the link on it, and the relevance of the content directly surrounding the link.

From a trusted source
It’s logical that a high quality backlink would come from a high quality website, and that a high quality site would also be a very trustworthy site. To determine if a website is trustworthy, search engines use a set of trusted seed sites (for example, Wikipedia, BBC, The Huffington Post, etc.), which they know for sure are high quality and which are difficult to get links from. The fewer the number of links away a site is from one of the seed sites, the higher its TrustRank is, and the higher the quality a link from that site is.
Sends traffic

This aspect of backlinks too often gets forgotten about. The original purpose of links, before the time search engines started using them as a factor in their algorithms, was to add value to a page by directing visitors to resources relevant to the topic of that page. Visitors still click these links as often as they did when the internet was first created, and having a link in a prominent position on a highly visited page makes it high quality because, regardless of rankings, it will bring your website a continual stream of targeted visitors.
Exact/phrase/synonym match anchor link text used

The quality of a backlink increases if the words that form the clickable text of the link are the same as, or similar to, the words that you’re trying to improve your rankings for. It looks unnatural to have a lot of incoming links made up of exactly the same anchor link text though, so use plenty of variations. If you’re trying to rank your site for ‘mortgage advice’, as well as getting links with ‘mortgage advice’ as the anchor link text, good variations would be ‘advice on mortgages’, ‘professional mortgage advice’ and ‘mortgage guidance’.

In-content
In-content backlinks (i.e. backlinks within a block of text) are the most likely to be editorial links, which are exactly the type of links that search engines value most, and if a link is included early on in a piece of content then it’s natural to assume that the author of that content considers it be an important link. Therefore, a backlink within the main content area of a page, and towards the top of that content area, is considered to be more high quality than a link lower down the page or in the sidebar or footer.

PageRank (PR) is the most basic and obvious measure to use when assessing the worth of a backlink – the higher the PR of the page where the link is located, the higher the quality of that link. PR can be a misleading metric though. All webpages start off with a PR of 0 (or n/a to be precise) and the PR of a page can rise and fall over time. Also, the PR value that Google displays for a page is only updated for the general public every 3 or so months, but within the algorithm it’s updated constantly. So, the PR value you see is only an estimate, and could well be a point or 2 off of the true PR.

Next to backlinks to authority websites
If a backlink to your business’s website is included on a page that links to high quality sites, especially ones in the same niche as your site, then it indicates to search engines that your site should be put in the same bracket as those high quality sites. If the other links on the page are to low quality sites, then your site won’t necessarily be classed as low quality also, but rather search engines may opt not to include those links as a factor, either positively or negatively, in their ranking calculations.

From a different source to your existing backlinks
There’s a strong correlation between higher rankings for a website and the number of unique websites (i.e. different domain names hosted on different IP addresses) linking to that site. All else being equal, it’s preferable to have 10 links from 10 different websites than 100 links from 3 different websites. So, for a new link to your business’s website to be considered high quality, it should be from a website which hasn’t already linked to you.

Not reciprocal
Link exchanges were widely abused in the past, which resulted in the value of reciprocal links being reduced. Reciprocal links do still have value, and there’s certainly no risk of a penalty being applied as a consequence of them, however, if you’re looking for a backlink of the highest possible quality, then it should come from a website that you’re not also linking to from your own site.

The trust and authority flowing through a page with a backlink to your site on it gets divided up between all of the links on that page, and so the less links there are on a page, the higher the quality of the links on the page, as the the trust and authority passed on is less diluted. It depends on a few factors, but as a rule of thumb, having a link to your site share a page with less than 10 other external links would be considered good.

Not easily acquired
The more easily you can acquire a backlink, the less value it will likely have. The chances are that if you can get it a couple of minutes, or with a couple of clicks, then thousands of people will have done it before you and thousands more will do it after you – including your competitors if they…

How Many Posts are Needed in a Blog to Get Approved by Google Adsense?

I was also searching for the question when I started blogging three years back in a free blogspot platform and was struggling to get approve by Google Adsense. I searched a lot in the internet, in different forums or also asked to pro bloggers. I had also got different answers from different sources. How Many Posts are Needed to Get Approved by Google Adsense?
Actually this is not an answer which can be given just by a single word. When I started blogging in blogspot, at first, I managed to post around 25 posts and then applied for Google Adsense. But the result was negative. Google did not approve my blog for adsense. Then I posted another 10 posts and again applied for Google Adsense. But the result was again the same. As the answers and reasons from Google are almost anonymous, it was hard to find the points which were missing in my blog. Then after a close look, I had found that the missing point is that my blog has some lines in the content which are copied from other website. In the beginning I was not aware that Google will penalize me If I copy content from other website. Though the contents were not fully copied but still Google detected those lines.
Then I deleted all those articles and written about 15 articles within one night with appropriate pictures. I did not copied those pictures again. I created some pictures using MS Paint and used those in the articles. Then applied for Google adsense. This time Google congratulated me! Ha ha .. I was the winner that time and Google Adsense was displaying in my blog.
I had written the story of mine because I want to provide you some message though this story. First of all, if you want to get approved by Google Adsense then do not even think of copy content from other website. Try to write original content as much as possible. Google does not like copied content.
Second thing, you need to keep in mind that If you want to get approved by Google Adsense then please do not write posts only with 100 or 120 words and one pictures. Try to write a post at least with 500 words. Then add one relevant picture and add the picture which is not copyright protected.
If you are posting content like this then post at least 20 contents. Then the process is still not over. Wait for at least 20-25 days. At least 3 weeks, before applying for Google Adsense. Add some social share plugin in your blog or share those articles in social networking site like Facebook , Twitter , Pinterest or StumbleUpon. Then try to build some backlinks to other blog or submit your blog to some popular online blog directory and also submit your blog to some popular search engine.
Keep your blog design as simple as possible and do not add other advertise network to your blog. Now, this is the time for you to apply for Google Adsense. Apply for Google Adsense and I am sure that you will get approved by Google Adsense.
So, the summary is, Google Adsense approval does not only depend only on the number of blog posts. You should publish only unique content to your blog, then need to have some social share and need to submit your blog to some search engine and wait for sometime if your blog is new.
Best of luck new bloggers! I hope you will come out with the flying colors. Happy earning with Google Adsense!
